R32 Gts-t 93' Price Drop *$8500* Sold Sold
DRFT32 replied to DRFT32's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
yes it has a RWC and the car will have 12 months rego on it for NSW because it runs out on the 22nd..if you dont was me to register it in NSW let me know..i will get some interior pics today for ya's. the gearbox is fine...still holding up but $2500 drive in drive out i would convert it..i was about to but now selling it i'm not..but the gearbox is fine. the engine is about 20,000 kms old since the rebuild so its fine..i have put the standard turbo back on the car incase i dont sell it and have to wholesale it but i can put the high flowed one back on which is only 5000km's old. the standard turbo's seal is running thin so the car has a bit of smoke when it climbs boost with this turbo on it. yes i do have a dyno sheet and this was before the exhaust was completed and the ecu re chipped so it should put out more than 208 plus if you convert it manual it should put out more again. thanks guys -

Hey guys quick questions. how long will a stock auto gearbox in an r32 last with around 230 rwkw? is anyone else running or seen someone run this sorta power through one? I currently am running it with 230rwkw and works ok. doesn't break traction which got me thinking, is it soaking up power? what can be done to make it run well....it just refuses to change unless i completely release the acccerlator like you would in a manual at top RPM.. Its $2500 to get it converted, would i be better to just do this ? any help would be great Aaron

yeah i would agree that you would be better off putting a sard in. i chose a sard for that reason..the metal diaphrams holds pressure perfectly..sell the malpassi to some n/a car owner and go get a sard...and bandaid fixes are not a good idea either..if your injectors are leaking...more pressure will just worsen that problem..so do as R31nismoid says and check pump voltages, check you fuel filter isn't blocked, check condition of clamps and injectors. I would do this even if you still put an adjustable reg in
-
hey lwboosted...to answer your questions a) yes it is another reg but dont worry about it, just leave it. You need to replace the front one. make an adapter and mount the reg somewhere..strut tower is nice, close and easily accessable. b) standard fuel pressure is 38psi.. a few psi will make alot of difference. i run 42psi Hope that helps

hey i did a search and couldn't find anything on this so i am asking the question about standard Auto gear boxes in an R32..i am wondering how much they can handle and/or at what point will they slip? Also ow much is gained by converting from auto to manual?? Is there much difference after you convert it ?? i am currently running around 215rwkw through it and just wondering how long it will last..i know it would depend on how you drive it but the usual..giving it a good squirt nearly everytime i drive it?? Thanks Aaron

hey Michael...oh course lights..sorry i forgot we were doing this at night....i drive a maroon r32 with no rear wing on it...just lowered on split 5 spoke 18's and no kit on it... i am fine with gosi...so count me in... Aaron

hey guys...i work for a car matainence product company. This is not a direct plug for the company but i recomend it to my customers for use with balck cars. If you want your car to look its best it can in black there is only 1 polish that can give it to you...its called flash liquid paste..its comes in a 1.8L bottle and sepparates quickly into a yellow and white liquid in the bottle....when shaken its a cream colour...but after 16 months now constantly going and supplying professional detailers with products i can honestly say that nothing comes close and if its done right that light dust mist you get like 2 days later with a hose and quick chamois it should be back to where it was just after you polished it...just an idea for all you people with black cars.... Hey guys yeah i talked to the guy who owns PMR1 Paul something it stands for (His Name)...cheerie kind of guy...met him at west gosford looking for someone who fixes fibreglasss bars as his was cracked. he was telling me how it always steps out on him and he wasn't used to the power coming on as boost does...If it was him thats sad to hear.. Guess we'll see..if you dont see it at Terrigal anymore we'll know..... Speaking of 33's i have seen alot lately...i seen about 4 with P plates on em just the other day...how many lines are on the coast now ?? seems to be more and more everyday.. Aaron

Are Thermo Fans Better Options Than Running Standa
DRFT32 replied to manage13's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
hey guys i got a 16" thermo mounted in my R32 GTS-t within the shroud...i deceded to put one in after i fried my engine 2 years ago and the original fan was cracked so i went the thermo...i can't vouch for any power improvements as my car was alwasys changing and never dynoed it to find out but i can say they do a good job of keeping the car cool...i only really have to turn it on if i am stuck in traffic for more than 10 mins or slow speed driving on hot days (like 30 and above) most days i dont even need to turn it on..i have it wired to a manual switch near centre consol. bit hard to take pics of it in shroud but here's two pics Aaron -
