Unless fuel samples were taken from all over Australia at many different times, the results of the tests are bullshit and don’t hold much more validity then a debate on the internet.
I havnt read it, but does it say they used different samples of fuel from different locations and times?
or did they just get one lot of samples and do tests of that?
why not just email mark hocking and tell him you want a car?
If you think j-spec or any other australian based broker would or can do anything to fix any "problems" that you couldnt easily do yourself, then well you are mistaken.
It is an "urban myth" that brokers do anything special or get you a better chance of a good hassle free car.
Performance cars are a total waste of money.
I love my car, but...
I will probably sell my second skyline after a year because I get a much nicer feeling inside from having heaps of savings then I do from having a flashy car.
Why would you not just import it yourself saving $1k? Are you really that helpless that you need them to call the exporter on your behalf?
There is a sticky post in the import forum about the import process.
Hi,
I have discovered quite a bit of water in one of my headlights. Compliance converted them to halogen and a bit later I converted them back to HID xenon’s.
Will my globes blow quicker?
Is it generally one common thing that is letting water is getting in?
Is it possible to stop it letting water in without replacing the entire headlight?
My headlight were looking so good up until this
Cheers
hey,
got a fmic, apexi avcr and powerfc coming in the mail, how much power can I expect at 10psi on stock turbo after a tune?
normal 3 inch turbo back shiznit.
2000 GTT series one.
cheers
I scrape near my cat every time i go in and out.
I had to adjust my rear suspension higher just so i could get it down.
I have no idea how I can get it fixed.
I doubt the council will do anything as the path has no problems.
I doubt my land son of rajab will rip up their driveway just so my lowered car doesntg scrape.

Thanks for the info.
I know it was a big ask just being able to wack on a bigger turbo, but i thought i would see if i could anyway.
The mods on the car at the moment are:
HKS double adjustable suspension
K&N pod with a CAI box with stock snorkle
3 inch dump
Catco hi-flow cat
3inch cat back with 4 inch canon
Arc sway bars under the car
Arc strut brace in engine bay
I have a manual boost controller but currently do not use it as I was having misfire and cut out problems at higher boost.
so with the stock turbo back on and a PowerFC and manual boost controller I can run say 10psi and will notice a improvement in acceleration and power?
cheers
Yo,
Last week end a nut came off where my turbo bolts to the manifold and I ended up blowing the gasket. I have since put a new bolt in to stop exhaust leak and will be replacing the gasket at a later stage.
I was thinking that since I will be pulling the turbo off that I might as well replace it with something a bit bigger that I can just bolt in its place.
Anyone recommend a bolt on turbo that is bigger but won’t require me to change other parts?
Will I have any issues with the ecu if I run a bigger turbo at say like 15-20psi?
Secondly how much can I get for a stock r34 GTT turbo s1 ?
Cheers
Yo,
I have noticed after I wash my car or its rained that when I put my windows up and down that water seems get from my window into my door leaving a trail on the window even if the actual window has dried.
I cant see anything at all wrong with my seals or any bits near the window.
Any ideas?
