  1. be careful of cheap intercooler kits, they often dont fit the car properly.
  2. going to be a hot day on sunday, my car feels slow on hot days, plus you have air con on so it feels even slower. mmmm
  3. hahaha nice video, man that gtr waited until the last straight to open up???? psycho
  4. starting line advantage? lol who cares? only homosexuals and women buy auto sports cars. It's like driving a porsche boxter or a jeep wrangler, its just not right. I would suggest test driving one at a car yard before making a purchase.
  5. lol 20k will get you a auto sedan. clean manual coupe that isnt white or silver and is fairly stock expect to pay aprox 30k to get it on road in australia
  6. has this list been pasted yet? http://www.albeedigital.com/supercoupe/art.../0-60times.html
  7. Would be good to hear from someone who has lived in japan or something similar.
  8. Does anyone know how common it is to wind back odometers in Japan? Is it done to most vehicles before auction to fetch a few more grand? It seems ridiculas that Japanese people as a group drive much less then everyone else in the world. Can digital odometers be would back like mechanical ones? Some cars I just found on a stock list just then 1993 Nissan Skyline R33 Gts-t 96,000kms on the clock, that’s only 8000km a year or 21km a day. 1998 Nissan Skyline R34 GT-T 32,000ks on the clock, that’s only 4571km a year or 12.5km a day. Can these be correct or should we just assume its all bullshit? I suppose I could have found some more extreme examples. Anyone living in Japan shed some light on the issue? Thoughts?
  9. In Perth we have to pay more then that because of less competition. Pretty sure its over 4k for 33 and 34
  10. that sux dude but you should have taken the car from them two years ago. If they wont or cant do the job then somone else could. They are scamming you, probably beeen driving your car around for two years. I would get legal advice asap.
  11. motorworld in japan now allow the public to browse their network of stock online and buy direct from them. A lot of the cars they have you will find on brokers websites, but buying direct from them, saves paying a brokers fee. http://www.motorworldjapan.com/cars/?page=Stock%20Lists
  12. I tried toothpaste and it did nothing. Used cut and polish and they came up great.
  13. cut and polish works well also.
  14. If they are power sellers get them banned from ebay. If they are not then dont buy off them
  15. Step on toes? lol give me a break. The supplier sells directly to the public anyway, as do most Australian brokers suppliers. How is going directly the owner of the car and bargaining, stepping on anyone’s toes?
  16. Yeah cool. But then again if I wanted that particular car I would email the supplier and demand the lower FOB, as if they wouldnt do it to make a sale.
  17. Hey j-spec I noticed one of the cars you guys list has a cheaper FOB then the supplier who actually owns the car has it listed for. Do you guys get some kind of discount? Or is the listing wrong? cheers
  18. FOB * current exchange rate Telegraphic transfer fee – $35 Shipping fees - $1500 - $2000 Taxes (15% Duty + 10% GST) on the FOB Compliance - $4400 New tyres Alarm/immobiliser system On road costs, stamp duty + licensing and registration
  19. why would you buy an expensive car without full comp insurance? the stupidity of it boggles my mind. nothing personal mate.
  20. damn I was thinking of joining half way but dont have a map
  21. lol you wish. 300hp on stock turbo at 12psi is never going to happen.
  22. I am sorry but in general supras are ugly ugly cars. its like a moving flashback to 1993. saying that I have seen a few extremly hot ones, but they are so rare its barely worth mentioning.
  23. ECU = 1000 tuning = no more then 500 500 = amount you are getting ripped off
  24. why didnt you chase him and get his licence plate number?
  25. I would say most australiana have no idea how to use a round-a-bout. The amount of people who indicate right when going straight or dont indicate at all is amazing.
