I just found that the cars were plain as, you see better cars on the roads. Last year there was a GTT there that was auto and totally stock and looked like shit. whats the point it being there? my car is better?

what about a wheel alignment? thats another $70-90 would bring it up to the same price as my quote. although you have more stuff to be installed, you got a good price man. Probably more competitive in vic compared to wa.

actually just got a better quote for $390. so i guess i answered my own question. BOOKED IN FRIDAY! I just got quoted $770 to install and align the following. KCA331 Caster Kit KCA348 Front Camber kit KCA347 Rear Camber Kit KCA349 Rear Subframe alignment kit in a GTT. does this seem about right? I was hoping for < $500

I know cops use the in car radars in the suburbs. The point is that if your radar detector is beeping every 5 seconds then your brain wont be switched on when its beeping for a radar. Hence making it less effective then if it was setup to just detect multinovas, which are much more common. If you have never been caught by any radars by leaving k band on and can put up with all the annoying beeping then good for you, keep doing what your doing.

All good radar detectors let you turn K band off and leave ka band on. with k and x off it wont make a sound until it detects a multinova. 80% of people I see with radar detects have it set up wrong and are idiots in that regard. They never listen to logic when I explain it either. radar detectors in a city/suburban environment only work efectivly as fixed multinova detectors (ka band). This I am sure off. When on long country drives if you turn k band back on I am told you can detect those police car mounted radars from 1-2km's away. This I havnt tested myself. radar detectors are 100% usless at saving you from hand held radars and will only detect it after you have been caught. thats pretty much all you need to know about them.

radar detects work 100% at detecting fixed multinovas with enough time to break to the limit if you are not traveling at an insane speed. Mine doesnt beep at all, unless there is a camera. How is that useless? maybe you just have no idea how to set one up?

I bought a bunch of handling gear, waiting for it in the mail still. after I get my mechanic mate to install it all, can I just take it to any alignment guys to get it all set up?

buying an unregistered car from ebay seem like a big risk in my opinion.

people always say why do you need more speed... they are the people with slow internet. haah torrents have no max speed... faster internet = faster torrents. iinet 24mbit is the best internet in perth, hands down.
