Most recently my remote fob will no longer unlock my passenger door. For a while sometimes it would work, and sometimes it wouldn't, and now it's stopped altogether. Reading through old threads on this forum, I believe a change in actuator will fix this? I won't be doing any of the repairs myself, so I am wondering what is the cost of a mechanic to fix something like this?
On top of that, my mirrors which automatically move when I put my car into reverse, now don't always go back into the same position they were in before I put it in reverse. They attempt to go back into the position, but then overshoot. Have to readjust my mirrors pretty much everytime I have to use reverse.
Also, after my last service, I noticed that my trip computer (which I paid to have converted to English) has stopped working. The time counter still works, it just does not count the kms anymore. Which is rather annoying. Also my compass has completely reversed. So it actually points south when I am facing north now. Both of these worked before I took it into servicing. I can not confirm it was the service that caused this though, as they are not things I check often enough. Can these be fixed too?
