What about getting some SAU Team Trackday emblems designed and made in to stickers for your helmets? I take it at some point SAU clothing will be organised? You could even make a whole badge award scheme, like Cub Scouts, you could set criteria for earning badges and the like...

So, are we going to have pre-movie meeting points for those coming from various sectors of Sydney? Then cruise in convoy, perhaps stopping at some point to get out and crack all our Cyalume sticks, ready for the roll-up to the drive-in?

URMINE, unfortunately not, I'm afraid. We pulled up at turn 2 just as you must have been completing your third drift, which I must say was f*cking huge IIRC. Don't worry though, next time there'll be much better footage, you just have to turn up and put on a show like you did here.

Oz, no worries. I'm just working some issues out with the system, and I'll be trying new editing software from now on, so fingers crossed I'll get the other 2 hours worth of footage I've taken on SAU events edited an uploaded soon (I would no doubt be crucified if I were to edit your footage before completing the Hunter Valley cruise vid, for example ), then I'd be happy to take a look.

Ok guys, I've cobbled together a vanilla highlights vid for you tonight. I'm not really happy with it, my vid-editing set-up is doing stuff I don't think it used to, and tonight's been a bit of a frustrating one for trying to get output like I used to get out of it. Anyway, I'll investigate further later, but in the meantime I decided to make this an experiment in Windows Media files as well. I've never used this format before (preferring DivX AVI), so let me know what you think. I'm not personally too thrilled with the quality, but it still seems to look ok at 200% zoom, and the filesizes are very reasonable. Perhaps a fair trade-off... Rick click and download please! URMINE, don't worry, there was quality footage of your drifting captured from at least two angles that I know of... I was wondering why it was you disappeared from the track just as we were starting to film you (we got about 3 of your efforts from memory)! Anyways, no doubts Geoff (Kinks) and myself will be posting video in the near future.

LOL, I didn't even realise that Dundan's reply was saying pretty much what mine was! I thought he was saying search SAU for the Bobbin Head vid that Franks posted. That'll teach me to read threads more better in future!

Hey all, I'm very shortly to begin editing the Hunter cruise vid, so I just wanted to make sure no one has any problems with their plates being visible in the video. I have no way of obscuring them at this stage which means if you have any objections your car may not end up in the vid, so speak now or forever hold your peace... Cheers

Keep in mind that McMahon's Point (you do mean Blues Point Reserve, right?) is having some sort of construction work done at the mo, and won't necessarily provide a very photo-friendly backdrop... It ruined about a third of my pics last time, that would have been awesome shots otherwise. Just a thought. I'm easy, though. Tex
