  1. Hey guys. I have plus t'd my R32 RB25DE. And its done a ring landing on piston number 4. Im having a little difficulty thing to find a replacement piston for the R32 RB25DEs. Does anyone know if the R33 ones are the same? Maybe even rb25det pistons, can they fit? Thanks Heaps
  2. Cheers for the input. FYI all RB AFMS are the same, apart from I think RB25DET which has the purple sticker Anyway, with the same setup above the problem has fixed itself. Adjusted timing even more, and running a 7psi spring, and adjusted the Fuel Pressure down a little it is flipping quick. feels faster than a genuine 20det. Cheers!
  3. Hey guys.. Just finished +ting an rb20de. As a de the motor was a good, strong, powerful motor. I used: RB20DET Manifold, Wastegate flange welded on. RB20DET turbo RB20DET j pipe FMIC setup Walbro 500hp Fuel Pump Fuel Pressure Regulator RB20DET ECU and Injectors Adjusted timing all over the show.. Now when it is warm, and I go for it in second it boost and pulls fine, (4 psi spring) As soon as I dump the clutch and sit on the spot doing a skid it 'farts and pops' around 4.5k - 5k revs. But then boosting in a straight line it builds boost and pulls fine. Anyone have any clues? Kinda feel as if its getting to much fuel, anyone know what the fuel pressure should be at at idle? Tried to do a search, nothing came up. Cheers

  5. So your only running one muffler/resonator/ thing ? lol cheers
  6. Cheers for the help. Im going to go source me two nice 'hot dog' mufflers to point in the system. Have you had hands one experience with the sound? I have actually got a GOOD quality exhaust tip on the standred exhaust system atm. Sounds great. No raspy sound at 3k
  7. Tried to search, found absolutely nothing I have an R32 GTS25. I have fabricated a 2.5 exhaust to go from the exhaust manifold all the way to the end. At the moment it is just straight pipe. Obviously it will be too loud as is. I am thinking about having one Coby Resonator in the middle. Then a RPS Cannon muffler at the back. My question is wil this muffle the sound a fair amount? and will it reduce the sound of the ugly fart cannon sound N/A skylines have? Also do the angles of the pipes make much difference to the sound? Because there is a skyline who lives around me and he has the same system i described and i want it to sound the same as that. But i dont want to have to get his car to compare and have exactly the same Any help will be appreciated Maybe someone who has done a 2.5 exhaust on there car and knows what is sounds like.
  8. Cheers mate. WIll converting it to manual have any problems again? So long as it has a speedo cable and the speedo is getting a reading the steering should be fine? Ive heard the HICAS gets its signal from the actually speedo in the dash
  9. Hey guys! Im James new here I have a Automatic R32 GTS25. The other day i was driving home and accelerated out of a street a bit to much and pretty sure I blew my gearbox Now my speedo dosnt move when traveling. It can still drive but slips. Now also my HICAS light came on as soon as it blew. Today I took it for a drive up my street. Reversing out of my garage the steering was nice and light. But when i got back it had gone extremly heavy. Im assuming its somthing to do with the speed sensor? As ive heard there is a switch that changes between hard and soft steering when driving. any help is aprecaited
