I doubt that it's a dud turbo ... more like a dud bleed valve. Or you have put the bleed valve in the wrong way round. If the turbo was dud it probably wouldn't make any boost at all That turbo you put a link to should be able to make what you're looking for on an RB20

yep walk in there, hand it over, write down address and leave it with them couple of weeks later you'll get a post office cheque (cashed in at post office) cheapest way to send goods though is get them to dd money to your account, and leave them with only the freight charge left (returned goods, it's heaps cheaper that way and you get your money virtually instantly)

What are peoples opinions on single turbos on an rb26 - I have up to 2k to spend on the turbo alone I was looking at a T04E with a 1.06a/r - where would something like this be on full boost by? Other options were GT30R 1.06 and 0.86 or GT35R (yep still under 2k) - how would these compare eg spooling/full boost/power production Or else 2nd hand turbos, anything If anyone has any answers to any of the questions, or their own thoughts I'm more than keen to hear The car will be used everyday, track bla bla but I'm more interested in a nice powerful 'responsive' turbo with plenty of potential later on down the track Cheers fellas

That's the R32 GTS4 in Hi Octane .. It's true that the R33 GTS4 missed out on all the good stuff, unlike the 32. In the 32 the g/box is the same as the GTR, but I'm not too sure about the 33. It wouldn't be too hard to bolt in a stagea motor, but then again it wouldnt be too hard to bolt in the GTR motor either. YOu're just going to need all the ancillaries as well.
