yeah my personal and honest vote goes to Troy it's nothing personal, and nothing political - only I feel that Troy has commited and dedicated most of his time to the initialisation and formation of the club I don't feel that someone who has been here since late last year should be in the running for president, when there are lots of others who have been here since the start who have earned the position no offence to anyone, I don't want this to become a bitch fight, but this is what I feel PLEASE read the other thread as well, so that you know what you are in for!!
-
Has anyone put them on and dyno tested the before and after results? If anyone has, can you say whether you had EX and/or IN and say how much you got out of it, and from which car it was? Am interested to know for the future Cheers dudes

yeah but I'm not talking about track days, I'm talking about all events - cruises included

ok I'm not going to search through the fantastic amounts of useless posts in this thread (so, sorry if this has already been said), but things that you're going to have to be aware of are: the good thing is the club is a single, separate legal entity, and as such people are pretty much immune from public liability, since the individual (volunteer or member) is controlled by the incorporated club Therefore, any incidents are directly the clubs fault, and not the driver If someone sues, then they'll be sueing the club, and the club is only worth as much as it's worth, and not any more - in other words, if Person A crashes, it is the clubs problem, not Person A, nor Person B etc HOWEVER, if you are on a club event, and someone else who is also on the event, hits you you'll have to deal with the club, and if the club has $0 to its name, then you won't receive anything for the damages - bad luck for you basically! So you have to decide whether you want public 'immunity' or essentially zero return, unless the club has enough funds But if it's written off ...

I think he's saying that silvia drivers hate skyline drivers, because we can't afford them..?

HKS bolt-in 550cc injectors for SR20
PSIKO replied to PSIKO's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Sydneykid: yeah, but unfortunately as INASNT says I lack 2 more for the set to make it attractive to RB owners cheers for the idea anyway tho -
the two at the front are generally tightened with a hose clamp, if you have cut them to fit through instead of removing the subframe enough to slot them in if they are cut ... and you aren't using anything to hold them together ... then it is an extremely didgy setup as even though they have the pressure from the subframe / weight of car, they can still snap out there shouldn't be any torque setting, just tighten them to shit
-
These are straight swap, side-feed HKS injectors which will bolt straight into the standard SR etc fuel rail Rated at 550cc High impedance Am in Perth, but can COD very good cond $600 firm These units have been cleaned up and are as new Cheers (ps thought they may have been Denso but have been confirmed as HKS)

rob: the tightness of the pineapples should only be governed by the hoseclamps that you've put round them use a screw-driver and tighten the hose clamp

paul aren't you getting a 3037? so you'd be running a sep wastegate line anyway (from the ext gate), and the sep on your current turbo ur probably aren't experiencing much diff since as you said it is that std turbo however for some else who may upgrade their turbo to one that uses the same dump pipe flange, it'd be in their best interest to use a partitioned dump pipe, with a late join further to the cat that's definately what I'm doing when I get my next dump pipe! tho ... smoothest airflow by ext venting wastagate ... which is all too tempting as well!
-
nah, because the 65.25' time should be moved back to make it 60' ... and therefore you'd have an extra 1.6m at the end of the track (where upon you'd be travelling at ~170kph) like I said, the track length is the same whether the 1.6m is taken from the start, or from the end it's still a 1/4 mile it'll only affect interval times, and the total ET by a mere fraction
-
that'll be because it's not a 60' time, its a 65.25' time
-
dude, why do u keep goin on about it? I'm not trying to start a fight, I merely said that it doesn't make a huge impact on your 1/4 ... as I've read numerous times before on diff forums drive at 170odd kph and look out your window how bloody long do you think it takes you to go 1.6m?? the amount of ppl that are sitting on 13.02 second 1/4 miles wasn't worth me saying that it'll make a diff for them tell them to take a dump before they do the 1/4 next time and they'll get the 12's jesus
-
yup a 0.035s difference on your ET not really worth writing home about
-
Butters: no I understand perfectly the track may be that bit longer (402.336m + 1.6m), but that 1.6m could be taken from the beginning of the track, or from the end of the track; but wherever it is, it's going to make a 0.0x second difference to your 1/4 mile time and like I said (and yourself), the only real differences are the 60' times etc
-
The track would still be the same overall length whether you take the 1.6m off of the beginning, or at the end therefore the cars are travelling the same distance overall and if you cross the line at 102mph, 1.6m is seriously insignificant only interval times will be different, but total ET will be pretty much on spot, apart from being 0.015s out or whatever was worked out
-
I'd say that the reason they stated the orientation was more to do with allowing you to get the hosing into the right part, instead of getting it backward, or putting it into the ext wastegate part I've never seen a solenoid for the EVC3, and whether they have more than one aux attachment point ... but mine floats around inside my engine bay (until I attach it properly), but still works bloody well But I HIGHLY doubt the orientation has any effect on how it performs

paul got a yellow
-
mmm dunno any 1st years, and the eng chicks I'd prolly stear clear of heehe jk I'm 3rd year
-
Nate, check out Bunnings mate, they sell adaptors that pretty much perfectly suit afm/pod adaptions, you just make ur own holes for the screws, and cost's all of the bank-breaking amount of $2.50
-
Julian / Jules Mechanical Engineering student and that's about all I have to say about that
-
Paul: the display is 79mmx39mm - VERY small It allows for two psi levels, low and high essentially that is what it does, nothing like holding wastegates or the like, it merely electronically controls the boost via its solenoid and a MAP sensor (I had to install an r32 one since the sr doesn't have any) - ~20 bux for a 2BAR MAP if you do need one Hybrid EBC a DEFINATE bargain if you ask me, and yeah I think hikari are selling them for $320 with some month special of free shipping too, or something If there are any RS drivers out there, will get back to you bout the map on them since I'm putting one in tomorrow
-
I use Hybrid on my car, Works uses it on his car, don't diss what you haven't tried As a comparison to my old turbosmart bleed valve, this unit is AWESOME ... after paying approx 340 for it, I came to the conclusion that it would be useless paying anymore for an ebc, since this unit jumps to boost, and holds it there tight And was piss to install too It is only restricted to 20psi if you use the 2BAR MAP sensor, however you can upgrade them and run higher boost ... but noone here is running more than 20 anyway
