  1. Dan, you'd better change your signature mate haha jk try MrMayhem, he generally has a lot of skyline parts, and is open all hours ...
  2. Riaz, pm me the post and I'll chuck it up for ya
  3. Micko, a couple of people I've spoken to said that this is the first thing police look for, and that they do know what/where they go; mainly since it's emissions control not sure of the fines, and not sure if this is true as I haven't been pulled over before At the same time, I can't really see much of a performance gain from it, since from what I can see it's all from the plenum, and whether the air goes down the pipes to the carbon canister or with a blocked pipe, shouldn't make by any means a detrimental effect on anything just make sure you plug up the hoses if you do remove it
  4. cheers Adrian also, what are they made of? eg Al, steel..? Not too keen on Al ones as I've heard the positioning buttons shear off ... I'll have to have a bit more of a read/research into it me thinks as to bang for buck keep me posted whether he does the sr ones though yeah? cheers mate
  5. when are you guys doing this? And do you think he'll chuck in both IN and EX for SR too?
  6. erik - your stock bov should be alright - other bov's cause stalling on afm controlled engines since the air isn't being recirculated, and the engine thinks there's more air in there than there actually is ... whereas the stock bov that you have is recirculating ... though if it's got a leak it'll cause stalling (though unlikely as it's all setup with metal pipes and is pretty hard to take apart with a spanner etc, let alone for it to come apart by itself! might be a broken afm perhaps - though you'd have other problems such as stalling when you pushing the throttle etc ... if you can make it to a cruise then that'd prolly be a cheaper way to fix it than the mech (though saying that warranty is def in the books so do that)
  7. Riaz, Toyo Trampio's are AWESOME! definately worth a go!! Traction is 100% in the dry, don't even think about a burnout etc! In the wet they're DAMN good too! I barely lose traction at all these days after putting them on
  8. hehe cheers dude for the free plug Instant horsepower increase if you have a standard car! And for $80 you can't really go wrong!
  9. Have a Turbosmart Gated Boost Controller for sale, it's the one ala the pic Am in Perth, would pref Perth buyer but meh can COD $80ono PM or reply here Cheers
  10. 23k!? more like 27k/28k if i t was 23k, what does that make the other skylines worth?
  11. well done Dan, sorry to hear about your other job! I just joined a gym tho - that fitness first one
  12. I agree with shuto-boy, you don't need huge-ass intercoolers, since you'll experienCe l ag if it's too big and as paul said, don't bother yoursElf with the branded intercoolers as thats just an extra 1ooo bux on the price juSt go a suitably sized (for thE amount of power) custom core, frOm a tRuck or whatever, and get that put in welcoMe you too btw as well p.s - cAn you please buy mE a nEw keyboard while yOu're out???? thIs o ne is ROOTED!!
  13. But with a wastegate pipe it improves............ the flow and reduces turbulence just after the turbine turbulence i s the disruption of air ... if you have turbulence, then the air flow is not linear, and if the air isn't all going one way at the same time, you'll have a reduction in the flow and and increase in restriction
  14. spray carbon cleaner onto the afm otherwise there may be a leak somewhere in the ic piping (or leaking bov)
  15. - a rear projector will sort out lighting issues - get a large banner made up obviously - put on your shirts and make sure the entered cars have the sau stickers - get one guy whose skyline is more music orientated and crank the tunes - have a track day or something befor ethe auto salon and enter the cars, and like jon said gets vids from them, and pics (otherwise you might have ricer theme with pauls car )
  16. it's happened to him twice now - the first time was wierd ... after he pulled over and got the gear in, the shifting was REALLY easy, like it went into gears so much more 'loosely' than how it used to, and currently, does (and it engaging the gears as he tried moving forward and back etc) off to g/box specialist then!
  17. SR stock cat, stock bov, a part of the stock i/c piping, stock i/c, even as far as to say stock fuel pump (but do they check that for the new system???)
  18. well I definately wouldn't call it a waste, as it's no doubt the guys initials just funny thats its on a beamer and not on the car
  19. well apparently this is so, but when you don't run any form of aftermarket management that can determine it, they all run under the same resistance and therefore same properties later on you can set it so that the injectors open faster (more current, lower resistance) and upgrade the springs so that the injectors close quicker (needed with higher hp and rev's bla bla) but basically for my needs, its irrelevant which I go for, only depends on how much I want to pay, and whether I intend to upgrade later (back-fed better for this) therefore back-fed (top-feed) is what I'm going for
  20. Roy, WA's distributor is SST (Steve-SST on here I think his username is) There's mixed responses here too, some places say they're a lot of trouble (cold starts, normal cruising when not under full load due to not being able to resolve the difference or something), whereas others say they're a gift to us from gods hehehe I recently borrowed a few mags off a mate as I've been hunting for info on Wolf's, and have been reading about them in reviews, they seem to get alright reviews, but there seems better options
  21. The numberplates GTR are home to a black series 5 beamer! Saw him going the opposite way to me, in Welshpool area Unlucky! :bahaha:
  22. what is your like on cold starts Paul, with the Wolf? Also, on casual driving and not on WOT?
  23. Hey sydneykid, cheers for the reply mate well the option was to either go side-fed high impedance, or back-fed low impedance with a new rail; but I went to speedworks and they answered my question anyway so is all good cheers
  24. how far advanced is your timing rev210?
