yup, like I said but more detail haha you can get your car moving at whatever reaction time you want, there is no scientifically proven fact about it...some cars respond differently due to their internals and of course the drivers abilities like gtrken said, the light is broken as the wheels go past the beam, you can launch it on one light, or both, but the 0.4s is the time between the lights and will only ever register the r.t when the 2nd light is broken

he was only joking skyzerr I think these things are only about $290 or $300, which imho is pretty good compared to the few grand you'd need for ems which supports it (even though they obviously carry many more benefits)...in fact I'm thinking of scrapping the tyres idea and going straight for this one has anyone had any experience with these? either this box or from their ems functions?

I'm pretty sure the 0.400s is the time difference between the lights, and if you are below this, then you have reacted before the green appears, since it hasn't been 0.400s after the previous orange also we can react quicker than 0.400s since I tried it once at school, with dropping a ruler and measuring the distance it drops to determine your reaction time...worked out quicker than 0.4s

Dunno what it's like over your way mate, but here (Perth) between the two about 4k or so max you'll obviously be able to find it closer if you look though

I think the one vg turbo which was ball bearing (or is it roller bearing, not sure) but anyway it had a steel comp with ceramic turbine although...I could be wrong, that's going by what I've seen... is t3 flange and this one does fit into the rb20 sorry don't know the tolerances etc, but being ceramic, I wouldn't put it up by much, 1BAR tops maybe

also the money you may have to put into the ca engine over the next 18 or so months to maintain/fix may be the same as getting a lower mileage sr in better nic but as you say - some engines go a lot further than newer ones; it's all to do with how tough a life its had turbo's don't generally have an easy one

they're just getting on a bit mate, yeah the bearings will go, I think number 2 is that one which kicks it the most often (least oil) the turbo can also be another worry since that'd be old too, so a split hose all the way to major shaft play etc can be seen (when you look at them and notice oil underneath it's not always the engine - could be the turbo oil drain pipe having a leak (check bov, if it has one, for large amounts of oil coming out, a little is fine; or else when you start it at the exhaust), checking the oil filler whilst engine is on, to see if it is bypassing the pistons (at least I think that's what its doing) - a large rev change isn't good haha whats wrong with the vlt?? personally I'd go for 2L out of the two

I've got a pretty boring vid of going down there... conclusion - going down it at nighttime with v dark tint is not advised!! some very close corners where I couldn't quite see what was going on made me change underwear a couple of times...but made it out alive! :burnout: but once you hit the whatever hwy down the bottom, that's where the fun lies!!

with the dash, try the dimmer switch (should be maybe to the right of your steering wheel, with a circular dial and a white line that goes around it with a tapered white line... give that a try for your dash lighting...the rears get a live wire probe and test the rear lights to see if you're getting power to them and go from there or otherwise what predator said

are you referring to the kalamunda gooseberry hill? Well if you turn right at the set of lights just before those ones (not allowed to turn right, but hypothetically), then you'll get to conti I thought we were gonna do it, but we will have to cruise it next time!

considering adam Q has power fc, big mofo turbo etc etc etc and macka has PHAT turbo also with many other things on both cars, they're making around the 300rwhp, and adam 32 made around 270rwhp with a t04e...I'm skeptical about it and like gradenko pointed out more than a gtr...someones been fiddling

in that case I can't help but think you have other mods done to your car than what you're telling us also why are cars in the wrong classes?? like has everyone had an engine conversion to something drastically larger? eg ur in 3401cc - 4500cc what engine u running??

If I were pulling 13's on an 11second car...I'd seriously be thinking about either having some lessons in how to drive, or giving up on taking my car to the motorplex ever again he must've gotten a better time than 13's??

nah, but I'm hoping to get it dyno'd next week sometime ...then I'm thinking about taking a trip to myaree and seeing how diff the two are
