Thanks for the replies. Yeah no milky fluid under oil cap However I wouldn't have thought rusty fluids would either float or have a silky feel to it?

Hi all, Yesterday morning I checked the coolant and it had some brown discolouration (see pic). I have drained the radiator and flushed it out with water. A large amount of this stuff came out. Whilst bleeding the coolant, more brown stuff came out. I closed it off and revved the engine, where upon bits were coming up through the radiator. I drove the car around for roughly 30-40 minutes, and re-checked when cool. There was minimal brown stuff inside the radiator (pretty much as much as you can see in the pic). Notes on old mate 'brown stuff': - It floats - I couldn't work out the smell, it didn't smell like oil. I run e85 so I'm not sure whether it could be that. - It has a very silky feel to it Other notes: There's no condensation or coolant coming through the exhaust The oil level did not seem to drop at all, nor has it dropped over the last month Any help or opinions would be greatly appreciated! Ok thanks for the info and advice Duncan, I'll suggest 120psi but they were quite reluctant for obvious reasons (we were hiding behind machines at 80psi) Perhaps if heating it up to make it stretch out a bit doesn't work, then 120psi could be pushed, but likewise with these blokes, they'd been doing it for over 30 years and never seen the problem before Cheers mate!

Hey guys, I have Federal 595 SS tyres, 265/35/18 and tried getting them put onto my stock R34 GTR rims, however for some reason the tyres weren't fitting completely - part of the tyre was catching and wouldn't push over the inner 'lip' - the tyre guys put up to 80psi into the tyre to try and push it out, but still didn't work. Does anyone know the reason for this, or has anyone had this problem before? They thought they it might've been because the tyre had contracted slightly in the cold, and are going to put some heat through them to stretch them out, but are otherwise at a loss as to why this would occur. Any help as to how to fix this would be greatly appreciated!

Gearbox was in really good condition, I used to run it in my car but swapped it purely because the engine I put in had another so I kept that in one piece; no crunching or grinding gears at all Cheers
