hiya i recently had a missfire problem which i fixed by temporarily taping the coils and gapping the plugs to 0.7mm whilst i order some splitfire coils. Anyways, the missfire has gone BUT i found another problem. 3rd and 4th gear seems to have trouble getting past 3000rpm. It is fine in 1st and 2nd. Also, if i let the foot off and on the pedal gently, the car seems to jerk a fair bit forward. The car is very "laggy". I already resetted the ecu but this did not seem to noticably fix it. I think that it might be a timing issue? To much retard in the timing? Any advice would be great. Cheers Eric

oh, to answer your q's 1) remove the rail which mounts the engine cover (neo 6 piece) 2) remove the 4 radiator clamps to remove the green piece (u only need to remove up to (and including) the rubber piece. you can leave the weird cylinder shape thing there 3) remove the coilpack cover (note that there are 2 small screws at the back which u need to take out and some small clips 4) remove the coilpacks the coilpack cover maybe a bit hard to take out so u might need to take off your oil cap too ^^

dont drop anything down the hole of the spark plug tat cost me $5.2k lol but yeah, now i'm careful

if you've had some experience, go for the cisco certs i have a mcse whilst working p/t and currently studying software engineering and havent really had the opportunity to use the mcse again ..

tats a pretty nice figure with just exhaust, filter, safc and 10 psi satanic on this forum had 194 or something with the same mods except he had FMIC and just a catback so i guess its pretty similar i think some ppl experience boost cut at anything above 10 with the standard ecu i thought the safc would remove the boost cut? hmm, i guess im wrong then

Hi I have tein HR (non adjustable damper) and well whilst they are pretty harsh on bumps (i was prepared and can live with this), i have a quick question. Would the stiffness of the suspension be harmful to the car? For example, many of Sydney's roads are broken, uneven etc and my car constantly goes up and down due to the hardness of the suspension. Is this very harmful to the car? eg. i dont want screws and bolts coming out of my car in the near future lol. Cheers Eric
