was the quote for one tyre? wat rear tyre size do you have? i have bridgestone and will probably stick with them for the next change as they are pretty good in wet/dry i had other tyres before and they were absolutely crap in the wet (not naming specific brands)

Heya Anyone know if there are actually speed cameras on the harbour bridge and the freeway that goes before it? i've seen things (big camera and light bulb) which looks like speed cameras but not sure if they are actually speed cameras or toll cameras theres nothing on roadwatch but i'm just curious thanks Eric

i got mine for $900 installed u ring brant and they organize an installer for you however, the last guy left me his card and said if someone contacted him directly, it'll be cheaper

heya well i usually park my car in a number of different places throughout syd just be smart at where you park, my common rule is dont park at westfields etc im probably lucky as i havent had anything done to my car "yet" i usually try to find parking on the street with alot of ppl or a secure carpark (not that it is actually secure but so far so good) yeah, i have a brant nemesis as well but i'm more paranoid bout vandalism than the car being stolen

hmm, probably unrelated but u might want to check the springs are sitting in the spring seats properly mine had that problem and had major "roll oversteer" it would step out on every turn and bump on the road and was undrivable in the rain

heya have a set of work meister s2r's in excellent condition (there is a barely visible 1/4cm scratch on one rim and thats bout it). these are fairly dished front is 17x8 and the back is 17x9 (have to double check) currently have potenza GIII (235 front and 255 rear) with some legal tread this fits r33 and 34 GTST/GTT looking at a trade in cheaper rims (with tyres) + cash adjustment as i want to do some repairs + i'm now a bit bored of them not in a hurry and dont really mind if i keep them or not =) pm me for offers please btw, syd only thanks, pic below

ok i guess i can help you here i have a tiptronic r34 my exhaust is kinda (well very) loud (its a 5zigen miracle fireball), its very light and sounds pretty good (personal opinion) and is the reason why i put up with it. in auto mode, it sounds deeper and more contained (the shifts arent held as long) in manual mode, it sounds better, the longer shifts i guess makes the exhaust sound like its suppose to (doesnt make sense but i think u know what i mean)

went to heasmans steering today found out that the rear right spring wasnt sitting in the mount properly (180 degrees other way) and thus raised the right rear side by about 1.5 cm. its amazing how no one else saw this when checking the car.. anyways, he said it could be the reason for the "roll oversteering" problem i have getting it fixed tomorrow and hopefully will be the end of that. top service over there and they really know their stuff didnt even charge me today =)

well u can try resetting the ecu wouldnt hurt and theres nothing to lose can be done in 10seconds uplug -ve of battery step on brakes/turn on headlights replug -ve of battery off you go

crazy-boy: are the kyb (non adjustable ones) ok to use with king springs or should they just be fitted to stock?

hiya I've got stock r34 shocks and springs and the car bounces around on small bumps on the road (which I may add is VERY dangerous in the wet) Anyways, I've read that the shocks maybe "seized" thus making them very hard and thus causes major oversteering and the bouncing around etc Now i'm looking at buying some new shocks but dont know exactly what to get. I'm not looking at anything fancy as its my daily driver and I dont do any track work nor race . I'm just after something that will allow me to drive in the rain without fear of bouncing/sliding off the road. Currently looking at KYB shocks as they're relatively cheap and i'm not looking for anything fancy. Will these work with the stock r34 springs? Also, will these work with some king lows? If i was looking at lowering it a bit, should I get bilsteins instead? I'm a complete newbie when it comes to suspension terms even though ive read up on it already = Thanks Eric

i've got potenza GIIIs the weird thing is that it was normal before i lowered the car and even though i put back the stock parts, its still like that so i'm guessing its either the shocks or maybe the bushes
