  3. hmmmm thats very curious... im not 100% sure thats gonna solve my issues but ill sus it out. reason i say that is because my hr31 coupe did it before i put a front mount in and even after that the pipin was run through the standard smic holes. laurel how ever has a hybrid fmic kit. and i cant exactly remember when the hesitation/r&r started. i know i didnt notice it when i test drove it before i bought it, and it didnt happen the first few weeks i had it but not sure if it happened before or after i put the fmic on it.. will investigate.
  4. yeah im in no real rush.. and possibly found a buyer for my eurolines. i liked the fitment they had on the front 9"+21 i think. but rear was a little too aggressive 10"+19

  6. yeah i had my hr31 coupe on the dyno many many times and turned up nothin. for the sake of a couple resistors im gonna give it a shot. and once i get my nistune ecu done ill send it to get dynoed to see if they can see anythin else this time,

  8. yeah thats what im gonna do. ive got the pin out. been told to cut the wires bout 100mm from ecu plug, wire in resistor and then earth them to the same earth the ecu uses.
  9. i havent had the checked on the laurel. but i know with my r31 coupe everythin was fine. literally every single test turned up no issues. only thing i didnt change/test on the coupe was the knock sensors.

  11. hey car came off the road not long after i posted last. problem was not the cas. its still doin it now and gettin worse. ive replaced my 02 sensor with a brand new one. and another known workin one. after talkin to a few old school mechanics and a few tuners ive been told that it could be the knock sensors.. they are likely working fine but somethin is confusing them. could be outside noise, could be bad wiring. reason they say its the knock sensors is because obviously a knock bein sensed will cause the ecu to go into r and r mode. also knock sensors only measure between 1500-3500 rpm. any higher or lower in the rev range theres a substantial amount of radiant noise which can confuse a knock sensor. when i get around to it. (hopefully in the next week) ill be by passing the knock sensors all together via a 460k ohm resistor soldered inline with the knock sensors. basically that will tell the ecu that there is no knock ever so if it does fix it then, ill replace the wiring and the knock sensors (seperately so that i can pinpoint which was the issue incase it happens again)
  12. oh lol. yeah id like meisters.. but findin a decent set (ie thatll fit without touchin my gaurds) isnt gonna be easy i assume. its a long way off yet either way. need to sell the eurolines before i make any serious moves to get new wheels.
  13. orange 33 on the golden way about 10:30 tonight. had a kit i believe, vented bonnet. looked quite nice. i was in the laurel turning right front grenfel rd onto golden way.
  14. r31 dont use a cable. they are electric. except for the imports r31 they use a cable. and im pretty sure they are different.
  15. top ones? as in the silver enkei? thats pretty much what ive decided on haha. but possibly 9+30 for the rear. gonna test fit some wheels clost to them specs soon and see how they sit. also shimmed up the diff tonight. 1 x 1.4mm shim, instant locker.... wasnt plannin on it bein a locker but ohwell haha least it wont single spin like it was haha
  16. f**k thats a nice ceffy! wish i could find/they made a kit similar to that for my c33. so hard to find aero stuff for a laurel haha.
  17. spotted a few cars today. first was a white 4door 33 with the impul tail light covers driving past the cudlee creek cafe (my c33 was parked out the front) bout 12:30 then a white 33 gtr on tippet road as i was headin back towards chainers, 33 was heading towards gorge, at about 1:30 and a 32 gtr on macintyre headin towards main north road at about 2:15 all three looks very nice!

  21. some chops a mate did of 2 wheels im considering found a coiuple sets of sp1s for sale in sizes thatll fit well and the enkei are brand new from a seller on here opinons?
  22. ok so im most likely goin to sell the eurolines to fund a set of wheels that fit better thinkin these in 17x8.5+30 and 17x9+30 rears will basically perfect fronts will sit in a bit but i have no issues with runnin spacers. what does everyone think?
  23. cheers Tom. yeah I used to work at AP Panel house in the city dismantlers complex but now im just bein a bum whilst trying to find a new job. haha. Ive texted you regaurding the parts your after as i dunno how often you check on here, ive got a lh corner light and a front bar but the front bar has been hacked up fairly well from the previous owners. cheers Danny
  24. cant modify first post but i just found out that i got the specs slightly wrong. fronts are 9j+21 with high caliper clearance rears are 10j+19 also high caliper clearance.
  25. haha cheers guys. would love to keep them but they are to big. the pic above has -5.5 degrees of rear camber to fit the wheels in. its currently aligned at -3.3 and scrubs on everythin but now the wheels sit about 20mm outside the gaurd and im completely against flaring gaurds. haha plus the side on profile of the car looks a little strange. reminds me of them matchbox cars with the spasticly oversized wheels haha.if they were 17s id make them work.
