pics from the 7th skyline day cruise this sunday with the 31 club

spotted a white stag at bunnings happy wash parafield sunday morning. had the plates madcat. look very nice. i was in the black c33 laure

twice this week i spotted a blue stag with the plates "uwish" out behind holdens in elizabeth.

yesturday about 2:30pm ish spotted a 32 and a 33 driving up gorge road past the cuddlee creek cafe. i was in the black c33 that was parked out the front.

hey im lookin for a pair of recaro or bride type ro seat rails to suit r32/33/cefiro/laurel. would prefer a pair but will settle for a drivers rail. pm me if you have or know anyone that has some. cheers danny

ill have a look tomorrow. the box im talkin about may very well be brown now that you mention it. its quite a decent sized box if i remember correctly, bout the size of a ciggie pack.

im honestly not sure. i dont often leave my keys in the ignition. but i would assume so since the headlight buzzer works if they are on and ignition is off with door open. ah cool tip. we will play around. goin to be offsettin the inner rails so the seat will hopefully be quite low. its surprisin how much head room you lose with the sunroof.

my left light doesnt work at all tho on auto. and no matter how light/dark it is outside, when on auto the drivers light only works. ill have a sus to see if i can find anythin. i know there is a random box in the engine bay near the drivers head light that ive nfi what it does. i assume it somethin with the lights. any ideas? i think its green?

actually it would make sense that its the sensor because im pretty sure that even in broad daylight on auto the drivers side headlight will come on.

drivers side?? cant say as ive noticed a sensor on the drivers side will have a sus.

hopefully gettin some new center caps turned up through a guy at work. then i need to find someone that can get the logos machined in. also did a few little bits inside the car over the weekend. got my demisters workin again. stopped the epically annoyin reverse buzzer. put my spare manual console in. which is actually a laurel one. in grey with the handbrake boot. looks way better then the black ceffy one with what ever they call the material on the console lid haha. oh and it didnt have a hand brake boot. found out my clock doesnt work because theres a dud resistor in it. so gonna fix that up. and gettin my recaros fitted this weekend. my brother has been hassling me for ages to put his stereo into his vs stato. he rang me yesturday to propose an offer haha. as he is a welder he is gonna make my rails for me whilst i put his stereo in. pretty sure ive got the better end of the bargain haha, head unit and amp wiring is f**k all. hopefully fixed the works finally. stupid f**kin leaking wheels. 3 are fine, one still leaked. so thursday night i stripped them down. attacked the sealing edges with a wire wheel to clean off all the old crusty silicone, and smashed in a bunch of new silicone. fingers crossed it seals. otherwise its off to extensive wheels to get done professionally. hopefully pics of it soon. finally took it for a decent drive through the hills last night. still un tuned, and with questionable tires. but its is sooo much quicker then my 31 coupe, handles a million times better. just a much better car to drive.

cant wait to see where this goes. looks good and so much potential. curious where you got the clear headlight lenses and parker lenses. would love a set for my laurel.

ok so ever since I got the laurel Ive been curious about the auto head light function. its on the stalk and theres what i assume is a light sensor on the passenger side of the top of the dash. how ever when i put it onto auto only the drivers side head light comes on. thought it might of been the stalk and since I had another one in better condition laying around I swapped it in on the weekend. but it hasnt made any difference. anyone know if there is some sort of control box or anythin for the auto lights? or what could be the problem? its not a big problem as the headlights still work as normal, its just nice to be able to have the factory functions workin properly. cheers Danny

pretty sure jap importspares have them. tis where i got the one for my laurel from and he had to sort through a massive pile of em to find it haha

same guy also has an r34 gtr and a 3000gt. and all three of them look amazing.

yeah thinkin that might be a good way to go actually. not so fussed about the rubbin. i have a hammer but will see what happens. plan on runnin around -1 on the rear. currently its -3 i think i have got centre caps. how ever one is missin a piece around the rim of it and they are all powder coated in a silver colour and dont match at all. i currently have a mate in japan whos tryin to find me a set to replace mine with. then im gonna get them sand blasted and hopefully they can be polished up to match.. if this is the case im thinkin bout gettin the "equip" logo thats stamped into them painted black. just for a bit of detailing.

so yesturday i finally finished polishin the wheels up. end result is very pleasing. got them fitted with tires and bolted up to the car today. very happy with how the laurel looks now. need to lower the front slightly as it sits up about an inch higher then the rear.

lol only just read this thread. looks nuts. wish i could find some weather shields for the laurel.. so jealous. good to hear your gonna get back in a laurel.

spotted a white 33 at the powder coaters in parahills this arvo bout 3:30 had black super advans on the front and i believe was pickin up the other pair from the powder coaters.
