    New Just Jap FMIC kit
  4. THis is how its connected now. Line is very long
  5. Ok ive just installed a Just Jap FMIC and the pipe that my boost controller used to connect to has been taken out and the new one doesnt have a nipple on it. (for the pressure side) Now do i need to tap in a new nipple into the new pipe or is there another spot to hook it upto? Ive had a good look and the only ones i can see are on the intake manifold (after the TB). At the moment i "T"ed it off from the BOV line but its not working correctly here. Help me please. Thanks.
  6. I know it goes on the outlet of the turbo but there is no nipple to attach it to. If you have a look at the pipe out of the turbo its got a realy bad bend 90degrees. A larger manrel bend here wouldn't hurt
  7. Well sofar its fine. The kit looks like good quality and is all polished up. You can feel the difference after a good thrash in the temps of the piping and the end tanks. Just 2 things I would like to change. 1. Put a nipple on the out pipe of the IC for the boost controller 2. Ditch the stock out pipe from the turbo and replace with a manrel bent Stainless one.
  8. Does anyone know where the best place to put the boost controller on to. It used togo on the stock pipe out of the turbo but the JJ kit doesnt have a nipple on it. ATM I "T" ed it off at the BOV but its not working properly. I think the BOV effects it.
  9. Yeh the kit fitted pretty good. I didnt have to trim the blades but. What I have to do is. Trim bumper frame at the back. Trim the front bar (as you can see) Drill one hole for the piping. One thing i would like the kit to have is a pipe from the turbo outlet, that is better then the stock one. The just jap kit uses the stock pipe for this. Oh I havent got any pics of the exhaust but its was pretty simple to install (once the old rusty one was off).
  10. Well first off. Happy Easter SAU members! Well what have you got up to over the long weekend?? For the last two days ive been under my car installing some new goodies. New mods done: Just Jap type 2 FMIC kit. Stainless twin dump and front pipe 3inch (from Batmbl) Highflow Catco Cat Just jap strut brace --Boost now set at 10psi-- Other parts to put in are: Bosch 040 fuel pump Boost gauge
  11. The bit that points down does go to the IC piping. And the right angled one goes to the wastegate
  12. My boss used to own a dr30 skyline with a rb25det, which was his race car. Was a dead stock rb25det with bolt on parts, ran 20psi and made 440hp ATW and raced this for a year and a half at Barbegello with no engine problems. He just sold it a few months ago and the new owner spent thousands rebuilding the engine but appently the engine was still in great condition.
  13. Heres my r33 with 17's and lowerd. Not sure how low or what springs but. Its perfect over bumps apart from the big low front bar.
  14. Put mine in last night and have a quick test today on the way to work. Apart from the boost a little high, it works awsome. Boost alot quicker and the BOV is louder. Ill adjust the boost after work and give it a good run. Awsome mod for $35!! Very happy here
  15. I got one today and just put it in late tonight.. Will tell you how it goes tomorrow
  16. U mean spend less then! So it wont go so loud.. LOL
  17. A Power FC is a after market computer, which would replace your stock one.
  18. If you want more info on the cheap boost controller go here http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...=73375&hl=loose I wouldn't think they are "unsafe" you would think a EBC would have more of a chance of not working. But its just an idea if you want to use the money you save on getting something else....
  19. Im just about to buy some parts for my r33, so ive been looking into what to get. I would go a twin dump/front pipe all in one (from a guy on this forum) also a high flow cat. Not sure on the rest of it probably just a 3inch. Get a hybrid or a justjap intercooler kit. Theres a guy on ebay selling a good boost controller for $35 That would cost around 2k with the rest you could go for a power fc and get it tuned then you should have 500bucks to spend on a deck. Goto http://www.auaudio.com for some good deals.
  20. Thats a awsome time.. something i want to build my r33 up to. What mods do you have???
  21. I WANT ONE!!! Whats the ebay link so i can get one??
  22. I would buy a stock airbox with a decent panel filter to replace the pod filter. Pod filter is going to cost you performance in terms of day to day driving. A guy on this forum has made up some boxes that fully seal the pod up, and the air is fed through the stock snorcle. There around $120 each... This is what i was thinking of getting. i guess it would be similar to the stock box and panel filter?
  23. That is true but i know if i was to get one i would just want to upgrade to a Power FC.. So i might aswelll save some more cash and get the FC. But for now i just want to get my car ready for one.
  24. Why do you need a catch can right now?? You arent gettin any detonations right?? So i would finish exhaust off from turbo back, with hiflow cat.. I would also get cam gears(exhaust).. I was going to get a catch can just because there cheap and i beleive it stopes all the crap going into your intake?? There is no detonations. With the cam gear would i need a after market computer? if not would i need to get the car on the dyno to tune it with the cam gear?? where can i get a cam gear from? My idea is to get all the mods done up towards getting a Power FC. As i cant afford a Power FC now and tune. Cheers.
