  1. Price update $3,900 On car sales also: https://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Nissan-Stagea-1997/SSE-AD-4793473/?Cr=0
  2. For Sale - Nissan Stagea WC34 1997 Series 1 RS4 V Auto Hi guys, Sharing this here for anyone interested, the time has come to let the Stagea go: This forum was a massive help for me over the years, both pre and post purchase. Cheers Luke
  3. Nissan Stagea WC34 1997 Series 1 RS4 V Auto Nissan Stagea, WGNC34 1997 Series 1 RS4 V Auto Price: $4,200 Located in Anglesea, Vic (on the Great Ocean Road) 140,000 km (imported with just under 80k on the clock) First Australian owner (11 years I think I've had it now) Modifications: 18" wheels 3" turbo back exhaust, including stainless split dump and high-flow cat K&N filter in standard airbox The good: Low kms Neat interior Near new Pirelli tyres (Cinturato P1) Stock engine and gearbox, not boosted or thrashed The not so good: The car was painted in Japan, poorly. It should be dark green and really needs a respray, if you are fussy at all Body kit was also fitted in Japan and requires attention, fitment, paint and some repair (fibreglass) Rust in the doors under the mirrors, both front doors need replacing. I have sourced one that will be included in the sale (pearl white in colour) Rust in the centre of the tailgate, was behind badge (I have the badge still) needs repairing, tailgate could be repaired or replaced Coil packs need replacing (hot miss at idle) Small exhaust leak somewhere, I haven't tracked it down yet The clear coat on the wheels has passed it's used by date and they all need refinishing Contact: Luke Phone: 0414 766 260 Email: luke [at] munchdesign [dot] com
  4. Sold in kits here angel eyes (obviously not for Stagea) but if you could match up the right size they might be a good start.
  5. Hi Daniel, What are the rest of the panels on the car like? Only front damage, are the front doors rust free (under the mirrors) other dints, bumps and scratches? Looks like a non-turbo interior/shifter maybe? Cheers Luke
  6. If you are an OZ cit then you would be able to bring it in as a personal import, that actually means no compliance requirements (or very little) need to be met. If you looked into it seriously and it was doable then you could advertise it over here, based on that scenario for sure. A few of the importers sell "personal imports" that their staff living in Japan (Australians) have owned for 12 months, the vehicle is then imported under the personal import scheme. Some details here: http://www.worldshipping.co.nz/forms/aus/o...eligibility.pdf
  7. Ok, yes I would be worried then. Sounds like they may have damaged one of the contacts on the window. You may need an auto elec or similar to confirm what has been damaged and where... They should have been much more careful! Sounds like they were more interested in taking the car for a spin though!
  8. Sounds like a real Lemon! Haha (joke!) I'm sure Chook will chime in with some help for you. Was the tint just the front windows? Can't see how that could possibly be connected to the TV issues...
  9. If you are bogging down, either not enough herbs, or your transmission is slipping. Got a boost gauge? What are you boosting to when stalling it up? I have seen this don properly by the original author and it works well. Quick tyre chirps on dry road before heading for the horizon.
  10. You will only have 4 pairs of speaker wires, the A pillar speakers are "splits" with the front door speakers.
  11. I actually spotted a new Ford in this colour today (you made me look!) I think it will look good, it will look like a show car though, that's a given. Can't wait to see this finished though, it has been a long road
  12. nissanstagea.com is now available for registration, I had great intentions when I registered this a couple of years back and I had a couple of false starts in setting up a site that I thought could support and represent the model in the English speaking world. In the end I was beaten by time and motivation to be honest, rather than squat on it and do nothing positive, I have let it go and it is now up for grabs. I wanted to post this here in the hope that it goes to a good home and that someone can do something positive with it, it probably won't be unclaimed for long so someone should grab it fast, if they want it. Cheers Luke
  13. This thread was made for me! You can't keep it to wagons though, if you are looking for inspiration I would look at everything for style, content and application. Have a look at sport trucks as this is an area where customisation is at it's extreme. I've got lots more saved up... What are you thinking Darrin?
  14. I have seen them taken in and out for a respray on Alex's car a fair while back, so it can be done without destruction.
  15. A new one to add: a little snow and disco lights: disco might be a repost... whoops
  16. Haha! That's me being too lazy to draw in the wheel detail...
  17. A little conceptual work...
  18. Haha! Use your imagination! I think the contrast of the silver edge would work better too. The red highlight will be much more subtle and blend with the wheel/tyre blackness. Really depends on what appeals to you in the end. I am out of play time for today sorry...
  19. I think they would look great! A quick visual aid...
  20. Are those wheels for real?!?! Nice!
  21. http://www.dexigner.com/design_news/cadill...port-wagon.html I'd call that wacky! As Jeremy Clarkson would say "the man that designed it only had a ruler..."
  22. Ouch, that looks nasty, glad to hear you walked away relatively unscathed.
