    Thats what i like to see. Someone optimistic for a change. But what if your car had half a tank of gas when it left japan and it was all used in being the "smoko car", "mooring ute" and victory donuts on the wharf?? Or even the tow motor for broken down cars........ Sorry i should be more optimistic too.

    You do realise that the stock actuator on an RB25 is 5psi. If you're getting spiking it would be more to do with the 7psi factory boost control solenoid.

    I can understand how backpressure is the enemy of response and gas flow. But you explain to us how it can effect the spring tension in the actuator. Which after all is acted on directly by the inlet manifold pressure.

    Well ive seen it too bud. Stock turbo, 15 psi,front mount,PFC, cam gear and shootout mode. Over 200rwkw.

    Yeah mate you,re dead right, there seems to be the odd the sphincter of the universe spouting crap when, in there position they should know better. Nice too here from some knowelgable people.

    The fact is it does't matter what the actuator opening pressure is, its the actuator (assuming no controller) that sets maximum boost pressure not exhaust back pressure. But back pressure does affect total engine air/ gas flow. ie.more power.

    Thats funny cause the waste gate actuator on an RB20 is already round 10psi And of cause response will be better with an exhaust.

    Nothing to do with boost. More to do with flow rate. How much difference do you think going from 15 to 30 psi on a 5ltr would make. Probably still in its effeciency though??

    Bloody hell man... Don,t worry bout pistons yet. Injectors are only good for 240-250 rwkw anyway. Ya only need a 400hp turbo to reach that. If ya want more then you,re up for PFC + injectors.

    Mate ya boost PSI is governed by your waste gate actuator. Nothing to do with ya zorst.

    Mate you can up the boost all you want but with a 2530 all ya gunna do is make hot air. And all that will do is bring you that bit closer to detonation.

    I had the same chronic missing problem too. Siliconed the bottom half of every coil pack. Problem solved. Saved a K.

    Yeah these bars sound great until you,ve seen a passenger seat sliced nearly in two horizontally by the u beaut side intrusion bar after a side impact. I,m sure that would,ve saved the passenger.......................... SUFFERING!
