  1. @ woverine: Yes, I blocked off the plumb back pipe with a rubber stopper. But the engine didn´t run at idle. Only when I put the foot on the accelerator, at approx. 1200 rpm. But that´s not what I want. I want that it works as normal, but louder. ;-)
  2. Thank you guys! I will try to close the bypass hole in the stock bov first. But just when it works, I´ve to change the BOV in the near future. The farting sound is very annoying!
  3. @ ironpaw: Mine makes the farting noise. That´s the reason, why I´m lookong for an aftermarket. And the other guy was Sasha and I bought his M35. But good that you remember! ;-)
  4. @ bigkevracer: Sorry, I didn´t know, that it is illegal to VTA. But if I block the BOV, it will flutter. And I don´t want the flutter, because it´s not so good for the turbine. @ lilcrash: I just love the atmo BOV sound. It makes the car sound more powerful. So you mean, if I map the ECU, the engine will run with a vented BOV?
  5. But why should anyone flame me for this thread? I don´t want to destroy my engine. That´s why I´m asking the people in this forum. Because in Germany there´s no NISSAN, with turbocharged petrol-engine anymore. The last of them was the Silvia S14, which is called in Germany 200SX with the SR20DET. And I can´t ask someone here.
  6. Okay. So I have to connect the plumb back pipe on the BOV. That´s bad, because I think, the Stagea would sound really nice with a vented BOV. :-(
  7. Sorry, but I don´t understand "un metered air". Does the engine / ecu know, if the pipe between BOV and air-filter is connected or not?! And will it work with an aftermarket BOV? I´m looking for a GReddy Type S. But I definitly want to use it open and not recirculated.
  8. Hey guys! I´m new here amd first, I will introduce myself: My name is Marco and I´m 27 years old. I own a 2001 Stagea 250t RS Four V. I live in Berlin, Germany and my NM35 is the first in Germany. If you have any questions, you can ask me everytime. But please think of one thing: In Germany we´re 10 hours after you. ;-) Here´s my first question: I tried to vent my stock BOV to atmosphere. At some pics in this forum I´ve seen, that some of you build this way. But when I pull off the tube between BOV and air-filter, the engine runs very irregular and turns off a few seconds after I started it. So what have you done, that it works?! I´m going crazy...
