could sell you a Non-Turbo R34? willing to sell for $9900 with around 5k worth of modifications, inc. complete custom exhaust system, extractors, high flow cat etc. and only 68,000kms on the clock. has the same engine as a 33, but the Neo version, less petrol consumption, much more power. -

Hey mate. If you gather an extra $3000, i can sell you a mint r34. these tend to go on the market for $11,000 + (for a 2000 model), although i have spent over $4000 on her, im willing to let her go for an offer above $9000. P-Plate friendly, trip-tronic auto, only 68,000kms, a rare 25GT-X model, and a beautiful car that everyone knows, with plenty of extras. Let me know buddy. Cheers.

thanks mate, some actual good feedback. the r34 hasnt been tuned yet, ive focused more on my 33 GTR, but i guarentee if the 34 has some tuning work done specifically for the quarter it would get some good N/A times. would love to hear some results from your V35 on the quarter, i have always been curious . -

i own a 33 GTR thats got plenty of tasteful mods, so yes these are slow compared to turbo's. this was a test to look at something different than speeds with a turbo, it is measuring the actual performance of the raw natural aspirated engine that bears modifications compared to a turbo car. if you think your funny, just take your humour somewhere else please. ....you get the point.... -

Being an N/A, its perfect for P-PLATERS. I have all reciepts for all modifications, and the car has 2 mature owners, myself being a mature university student. The car has NEVER BEEN THRASHED. These 25GT-X are rare models, only 2 more in AUS, I had never knew it was this model until one day a Skylines Enthusiast made me aware of the 25GT-X model due to some of its features, he offered me $14,000 at the time STOCK, although was not for sale at that time. I bought the car STOCK at the start of 2011 for $14,000 with 63,000kms from an old Japanese man whom brang it over with another few cars, and did not drive this hence the very low kms. I hardly drive the car. Since purchasing the car, I have spent thousands, and always researched for the best parts. The interior, exterior and mechanics of the car is in great condition for its age. Never any problems or issues, and has not been in any accidents. Wish I could keep it, but University and Financial issues have forced me to sell it. Note: I will be posting more pictures up soon, thanks .

N/a Skyline R34 Vs N/a Xr6
R34 0125GT replied to R34 0125GT's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
yeah your right there, the holdens and fords are pretty hard to get off the line. even the auto's are hard to. they tend to get more power out of the 3rd and 4th were the skyline lacks. the times were pretty close, he was running low 15's when the r34 ran high 14's. some might laugh at this result, but don't forget we are testing lightly modified N/A's here. Pretty much raw engine power without turbo's or modifications. -
to be honest mate, buying a GTR would just be an easier option, incorporating all the other things like putting everything together. as mad082 said, it would be almost impossible to actually find an empty shell. it would be better to either sell the rb26 and buy a gtr, or start a project possibly in a VL or something.

thanks for being interested, yeah mate thats a good point, when we tested on half a mile, he did come up on top by about a quarter of a car length. probably because the xr6 delivers higher amounts of kw than the r34. -

both 5 speeds. we had another run after that and the same result. to prove more we swapped cars and pretty much the same result. it wasnt to prove historical stuff, its just r34's are proposed as having a low power rating, when the NEO engine that goes in them is more powerful than an average rb25 in 33's. although the wieght is a factor,
