  1. Credit card transactions usually have some insurance attached....don't know if it coveres this though. However an e-mail to your credit card provider with full details of the situation could possibly result in them getting your money back, but do it now don't lose any more time
  2. They may look the same but they have different Nissan part no. so they are not actually the same, and ...no...I don't know what the differences are but I would only put an RB25 DETpump on my RB25DET
  3. That sounds very interesting....can you post more details??
  4. Hmmm! I was around then as jay51, I remember a few people getting their knickers in a knot. I joined SAU in April 2002 but I still visit and ocasionally post on SDU. I still have Shell's big silver sticker on my rear window.( I'm just too lazy) wouldn't be surprised if I have the only SDU stickered Range Rover in Aus either. It looks like we are finally going to get the official SAU (Qld) sticker so SDU might finally have to go.
  5. Theres nothing locally except for the GTR which was sold in Aus by Nissan. go to this site for info on what's available www.jpnz.co.nz/home.html. I believe that some manuals in English are available in the UK as Nissan UK was involved in the grey import buisness there.
  6. Good for you guys......... I'll see you there
  7. Ideally the rears should be set so that the angle of the belts stretching back from your shoulders to the rear mount points is no more than 10 degres from horizontal but up to 45 degrees is acceptable. The biger the angle ...the less effective the restraint
  8. Quote Drag racers - improve your launch, run a different boost in each gear Well you could do it in 3 gears as e-boost has 3 available settings for boost level, however e-boost will not change between these boost levels for you . You have to exhert yourself either by pressing the up/down buttons on the e-boost itself or by hardwiring sp2 and sp3 through a switch or switches. e-boost defaults to sp1 when turned on. rb20-calais you really need to set it up on a dyno or if on the road...with someone who knows what he's doing it's mostly a trial and error thing so make sure you have a reasonable overboost cut set befor you fiddle
  9. Eyeballed the VL motor last week it appears to be a totally different setup
  10. They are both very good neverhad any problems with them. Greenline seems to be cheaper on the injectors. Remember wih Sard you have to add the cost of the adaptors which brings them up to the same price as the Nismos. They will quote you a price delivered.
  11. You can't program it to run differet boost in different gears. What you can do is set it up with SP2 andSP3 hardwired to switches. I have 2 rocket switches in the centre console just in front of the storage compartment 1 green and 1 red. My normal everyday boost is 14.5psi, flipping the green switch brings up SP2 at 18psi and the red one SP3 at 22psi. So use normal boost in first then change to 2nd and as your hand comes off the gearlever it falls to the switches and you flip on whichever one you want.
  12. Got mine fromWholesale Suspensions at Slacks Creek, think it was about $190. It has spring hook at it's attachment points and just clips onto the replacement ringbolts, so can be easily removed
  13. I you need to get one..... get the type whereby the 2 front mounting bolts replace the existing bolts for your 3 point. They are a ringbolt and you can retain your 3point harness and the 4 point clips on over the top. you canmount the rears on the parcel shelf with reinforcing plates under. If you'r that short of cash....just put in the mounting bolts and i'll lend you a harness
  14. If you'r smart you'll be using at least a 4point harness whether the rules demand it or not
  15. Hahaha! only way to go #6 ball won't do....has to be an 8Ball. $10 and a bit of work. Has a really nice weight to it aswell, I've had one in for ages http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/members/5...ar/interior.jpg
  16. The all silver lights are the 4 door ones they are straight swap for the (black inside) 2 door ones in the appropiate series. Series 1 and 2 are interchangable as far as screwing them in goes but bonnet and front bar lines will not match up. also the mount points for the grill are different......bin ther dun that!
  17. I have 1 x drivers side headlight assembly....but it's 4 door....
  18. What do you actually want?? 2xright headlight assemblies or 1 headlight assembly and one fog/indicator assembly I've got one of each. And do you mean driver or passenger side

  20. I got one in Bris $350 it will be in 2 pack undercoat ready to paint
  21. gtst89....you still have a licence you'r just not allowed to drive for 12 months or so. You can still drive on the track and dragstrip you just need a mate to drive you out there
  22. Forget the paint.......just put one on a car so we can see how the thing looks in situ. Also what can you tell us about it's aerodynamics.
  23. Use spraypack gasket remover and follow instructions on pack
