  3. And......they ride on 205 55 16's
  4. Eug!! I mean it!! they drink coffee on Park rd with their little pinkies sticking out!!! and they pick fights with fat women!!!
  5. Eug Be very careful!! this is a dangerous crew your getting mixed up with........I fear for your very soul!!!
  6. I had that problem with my R33 GTS25T. after several days of trying everything to no avail I e-mailed Glen to tell him it was stuffed . Next day set it up again and it worked fine and has done ever since. Occasionally get the error message but switching ignition off and on whilst Data Logit is plugged in and running fixes it. It seems to be better to have the program plugged in and running befor you switch the ignition on
  7. http://members.optushome.com.au/jay51/R33%...00R%20frontbar/ These are pics showing general fit of the 400R series 2 frontbar on my series 1 with series 2 lights
  8. The basic difference seems to be that the series 2 lights are flatter with less curve along the front length so they sit further back from the edge of the bar and show a gap about 10mm where you can see the rear edge of the bar. I now have a 400R bar to suit series 2...from UAS. Ididn't have to alter the front support bar because basicly it's mostly gone. for interest the series 2 lights were approx $520 each including delivery from Sydney, I got them via Zoom Auto Imports 07 3348 6939. I ended up buying 3 'cos 2 weeks after I fitted them (straight bolt on swap) I hit a kangaroo!!!!
  9. It's my birthday on 29th Oct......I WANT A V8 SKYLINE this has been a subtle hint from 51jay
  10. Ahem!! basic idea is breathers feeding to bottom of can air then rises through a filter medium usually stainless steel ribbon wool and exits from the top back into the turbo inlet tube after the MAF. If you need to you can add a drain in the bottom. (some of us don't get enough oil in there to need a drain) The stainless filter acts more to help condense the oil out of the air and the ribbon type panscrubbers do this better than normal steel wool
  11. Best thing you can do is forget all the advice you just got except the bit about reading the stickies they are where you do your research. The stock R33 turbo is ball bearing. Before you start building it's best to know what you are building on, ps oh!... and especially don't give your car and $10K to Squizz........give it to me............or maybe just the $10K
  12. This is a series1 with series2 lights, UAS series 2 c/f bonnet and series 1 m type front bar. http://members.optushome.com.au/jay51/Jay'...ar/DSC_2078.jpg same car same details bar now black http://members.optushome.com.au/jay51/Blac...0Bar2%20(1).jpg
  13. Check out www.customcarbon.com.au
  14. Thats about $A1100 why do you think thats expensive?? Nelson Have you seen a sample of this Singapore stuff?? what will freight cost be ?? what about import duty and GST?? You can get good quality products made locally for very compettative prices eg Bootlid $880 bonnet $1430 frontbar $880
  15. "Drag Racing" is who gets to the 1/4 mile first....end of story How fast you can do 1/4 mile is a different story.Munro has covered it pretty well
  16. Maybe at a test and tune they can afford to do that but not at a real drag meet , They would be running either head to head or bracket, in either case if they don't launch on the green they would be done .
  17. rebecca romijn-stamos. mmmmm!........... Just in case you get lucky....has she got a friend???
  18. Get a seccond opinion from a workshop that you know is familier with Skylines
  19. ???What do you call a carpark FULL of Skylines??? Finally saw Squiz's Ceffy.....whats so special about them.....looks just like an R32GTR to me ?? What a great turnout!!! Well done Erin. Now I know why Strutto's kids have square eyeballs!! Nice to meet Mrs Strutto. I must say.... I thought the Camry really stood out...against all those lookalike round tail lights!!
  20. Take the globe out ....or...just unplug the HICAS computer
  21. QUOTE=strutto]Sedans... Not 4 doors... I always call it a 4 Door....that way I can be reasonably sure that the average "ordinary Skyline" drivers can work out what the difference is  only pic I've got handy at the moment http://members.optushome.com.au/jay51/Black%20M%20Bar2%20(1).jpg
  22. Popular opinion seems to say it's laggy, It's not laggy in my car. I think a lot depends on how it is set up, mine makes respectable boost on 1/4 throttle and is very linier in it's onset coming on to full boost at 3000 or just under then maintains it up to 7500. I'm using the FC-Data Logit default tune as I have not yet got it to the tuners. mods are HKS adjustable camgear on exhaust retarded 4 degrees.... anyone who has this and hasn't got a big boost in low and midrange torque hasn't done it right...no argument!! lightweight flywheel...6Kg 3" turbo back exhaust....pretty quiet...probably legal 600x300x75 fmic modded plenum...front throttlebody R33 Apexi Super Suction pod filter kit cold air box Sard fuel regulator, VN fuel pump HKS2540 turbo split dump pipe Power FC E-Boost I expect to have around 210 to 220rwKw when I finally get it tuned but i'm more interested in good power and torque right through the range than big peak power numbers
  23. 2540 may be laggy on a completely stock R33.....but it isn't on mine its on solid full boost by 3000 with 7psi coming in around 1800....on less than half throttle
  24. Attach it to one of the shield brackets or the manifold shield
  25. I've talked to Faheem and got one organised ....thanks
