  1. Is it still possible to get one of these badges....red??
  2. Ronin 09 Your installation looks even better!! With regard to the corrugated tubing it's ok but I wouldnt use it I'd be using 90mm plastic drain pipe....a bit harder to use but well worth the effort http://members.optushome.com.au/jay51/Cold...ntake%20012.jpg

    Powercruise

mick51 and I will be there on Sunday
  4. I'm still a bit confused about the compression ratios. what do you need to get a c/r of 9:1 for the RB25DET head and the RB20DET head.
  5. R33 and R32 have 3 belts a/c, power steer and alternator are each on a separate belt
  6. I did the same 18months ago....no problems with the HICAS. No reason why you cant put the HICAS computer anywhere it will fit
  7. GTST is push GTR is pull. At the least you would have to get the GTR slave cylinder and rod and the GTR clutch activating lever ect. the clutch pressure plate is quite different. You would be far better off with aftermarket GTST clutch.

Jeez!! you guys are nerds....leave him alone... these are PUBLIC Forums
  9. Addit Have a new in the box VL series 2 3.0L Block + a used one + a spare RB25DET head. When I get some time i'm going to build an RB30 for it
  10. If you bought an RB25DET gearbox and it turns out it isn't one You should return it and get your money back. As far as I can see you've been ripped off!!!
  11. http://www.modicoat.com/ Check this site out ...but it's not cheap. Hi! I'm back in Bris :wavey:
  12. I'm in....mick51 too
  13. ARE in Bris do a fmic to fit inbetween the fog/indicator lights in the stock series1 front bar. From memory the M type bar went straight on and they could fit the pipes to clear the extra lights....but....they are the best......and they are expensive.
  14. Apparrantly white is the hardest colour to maintain....because the materials used to produce white are very hard so if you need to cut and polish its a lot more dificult to work on. ....Just a little input from the "Big Smoke" :wavey:
  15. Sigh!! the grill is not there!! the UAS one sits on top of the grill which to my mind is untidy mine was cut to slip under the TOP of the Grill and was held there by two clips. it then fitted neatly around the the grill brackets. The other point is i think most people cut too much out around the bonnet release and lever. My next one will fit even better around these. Do you think that closing in the sides and bottom made a noticible difference?? more so than just doing the top??. Hmmm! your right about the bar and seal, together they cover around 60 to 70mm depth of the radiator. The plate would help to push air under and up behind the bar and vent over the top of the rad, into the engine bay 1: how strong does the bar need to be?? perhaps the 2 down sides of it could have 1/2 or 2/3 removed from the bottom up. 2: the plate could then be made to cover the bottom of the bar Jeez i'm getting finger cramps!!
  16. Probably very few, Apparantly they are a matched unit and cost around $600 new. I have just developed this problem....it's a real pain, however my heel and toe technique is improving daily
  17. They always quote 2 weeks but mostly it arrives sooner
  18. I agree with Gav. As for the wgt factor....it still goes harder than the R33. I got the jump on one at the dragstrip but he fairly blasted past me around the halfway
  19. Doesn't this thread belong in the wasteland :kick:
  20. Has anybody else got got this . Do you have any comments about it??
  21. ""that should be the purpose as i understand it steve, especially if you look at the UAS one on the S1 grill, it allows airflow under it and seals the top, (you need to make sure that air can reach the factory norkel/air intake). sealing the radiator on top should lead to efficiency gains. Same goes for the IC. "" as I said the top is allready sealed with the factory bonnet The top wasn't blocked !
  22. I'll be back in Bris Mon 5th April pm me around then with your phone no.
