Wheel offsets are a tricky subject, they vary with the size and width of the wheel. Generally speaking GTR's have a shallow + offset around +10 to +12 I think. GTST's have a much larger + offset eg My R33 GTST's 17x8.5ins rims are +30 and the (9.5ins are +40. Why don't you measure them??

Sounds like you'r lookink for a NASA vent.... set into the bonnet rather than poking up above it. If you want them on a stock bonnet you will need to have them cut and fitted into the bonnet or find the ones you want and have them fitted. lifting the rear of the bonnet is just a "rice" thing the base of the windscreen is a high pressure area ....so no good for venting hot air from under the bonnet.

I would put purple to the loom side of 53 and orange to the ECU side if you don't get a speedreading reverse them. Green should be spliced into the rev signal wire. On the R33 looking at the loom side of the ecu plug oriented to plug into the ecu green goes to wire 7 which is 4th on the left top row from the centre fixing purple/orange to wire 53 8th from the right hand end bottom row red/power supply splices into 59 which is 2nd from right bottom row. black goes to 50 whic is 1st from right top row
