  1. We have two of them, the older larger one and the latest small one ....both Turbosmart duel boost. Take your pick.....after making an offer
  2. Muz....... If you'r only 56 and you think you'r "an old fart" you probably are , and no smarta*se replies either.....show respect to your elders...........who still enjoy a Sunday afternoon drive in the park. http://members.optushome.com.au/jay51/Jay/Jay%2315.JPG
  3. I'm pretty sure the Z32 AFM is the same size or slightly smaller then the RB25......the difference lies in how the signal is read
  4. Don't worry James the invite was collective for the SAU cars
  5. and if several hundred extra people turned up at Eastern Creek would they all get a run ??
  6. No never,.... it will be getting a carbon fibre bonnet and hopefully boot lid &spoiler, Then the paint scheme will be black and silver, not decided how it will be yet but the bar will be black We tidy drivers didn't get shouted at.... we even got invited back Glad you got home alright....the retro looks very nice
  7. Jimx's must have been pretty tired, be prepared to have your top plate flying across your workshop when the top nut comes off. When dealing with coil springs the right tools make it a lot easier.....and safer
  8. I have Endless NA-R and despite the fact that they are described as a "specialist circuit pad" heat range 300 -800 C they have been on the car since last December and are excellent on the track ,dragstrip and circuit. They feel just like a normal pad ,are not especially dusty and just stop the car whether it's the end of the dragstrip, the main straight at W'bank for the 7th time or the first traffic light on your way to Maccas. Considering the cost of my car, the cost of all the extras on it , the fact that one of my favourite sons drives it on the racetrack and Mary's favourite husband (me ) drives it on road and track I consider it to be $456 well spent even though the price curled my toes up at the time.
  9. I'll take it that the operation was successful....and slip made it home ok. Well done guys
  10. I'd go the Power FC if you have someone to tune it up properly....I wouldn;t be in too much of a hurry to get rid of the AFM either. I currently have the EMS Dual Sport and will probably change to a PFC when I can afford it
  11. I've a C's one in for a long time now....wouldn't be without it .By comparrison the normal shift feels really long and sloppy. Ihave heard that you need to check if you'r getting Nismo.... there is a 10% and a 30%.

  13. 4 Doors When you'r sitting on the burnout pad bouncing off the rev limiter in 2nd gear are you trying to tell us you'r not f*cking that poor little Skyline
  14. I'd be in a group buy for good quality lightweight pulleys
  15. Well with 9" rears your looking at 255 35 or 265 35 I personally will not in future be using more than 225 on the front for street use, too much tramlining and stress on the steering with bigger ones
  16. I don't know why he'd say that but I think I'd buy my tyres somewhere else. There's nothing wrong with what you propose to do but be aware that the difference in handling between VERY good tyres at the back and VERY sh*tty tyres at the front will be a lot greater especially in the wet and your fronts take the brunt of your braking. You dont mention size and width of your wheels. I run 18x9 rear with 265 35 and 18x8 front with 235 35 and my car has a bias towards understeer
  17. Edit.......OOps!!! Wrong Thread It is on barring torrential rain . Gates open 8am. I believe it is $40 for 1/2 day $55 for full day. No special licence reqired, car and driver set up as for drags ie non flammable neck to wrist to ankle and helmet, fire extinguisher is advised but not reqired. BUT be aware they will be monitering exhaust noise level,..... over 95Decibels and you won't be running until you quieten it down. Place should be easy to find ...follow highway into town watch for Morgan Park sign on the left. Still hav'nt found out if BP Ultimax or Shell Optimax is available in Warrick so last available is on Ipswich highway at Gailes for Shell just before the Logan Expressway joins on and BP 2or3 K's futher on. 15L of Toluene in a tank full would bring Premium at 96 octane safely up past 98oct
  18. He is asking about putting a PAIR of different brand tyres on the back "so i think it definitely effects the ride" ride is usually associated with comfort......handling is all about performance through corners usually you lose the first as you gain the seccond ie replacing stock springs/shocks with Jap coilovers "i dont' think it matters if the front and backs are different ... eg people with wider wheels at the back ..." try punting through a corner with 205's on the front and 265's on the back then swap them front to back and punt through the corner again !! still think it doesn't matter if the fronts and backs are different. (exagerated example to make point) similar thing applies if you have grippier tyres at one end than the other. We are assuming of course that you have matching tyres on each axle.

    Camera Mount

2"alum tube between top of seats with hole in each end for inner leg of headrests to go through. Held in place by headrests with suitable length tube spacer on inner leg. 1/8" alum plate welded on whereever you want to mount camera with hole to take suitable setscrew to mount camera via normal tripod mounting thread in camera base. addit......saw this setup in a car at Qld Raceway on Sat using 2"x1" timber bar,......alum tube with plate would be better
  20. If your rear wheel allignment is correct you can put anything you like on the back and it won't effect the way the front wheels point or the centering of the steering wheel. If you are smart you get an alighnment done when you fit new tyres front or rear addit.... of course your choice of tyres will effect your overall handling....good tyres better grip and cornering . If you have grippier tyres on one end of the car only then that end will handle better than the other
  21. Slow and steady wins the race I did 1:9's and 1:10's whilst using my exhaust as a flamethrower to deter anyone who got too close. Mick did 1:03:44 in my car and 1:05's in his, Steve was doing 1:03's. I've got more pics but i'm on 28k for the rest of the month Optus's 3G limit is pathetic
  22.
