  1. At least JimX only needs one. Despite the tales to the contrary I will be quite happy with my HKS......and they are half the weight of the others.. also the HKS GTR was using them
  2. Pretty sure my fuel rail is fed from the rear
  3. Opinion seems to be about 50/50. I got my car from them and though some apects of the deal seemed a little shonky, the car turned out to be a good one and the price was ok. Nismogirl got her's there and has had a lot of mecanical problems so make sure you check the car out properly.
  4. It's better to heat bag the turbo rather than wrap it....need to keep a bit of airspace around it...between it and the bag
  5. ricknismo.........13.308 at 103.2mph, 60ft 1.876.....hee hee hee! what was your 60ft time again?
  6. robertr........... Thank you for your kind words, however, Imust confess....I lied about the 51.......I'll be 63 this year. When we get this clutch thing sorted out we have high hopes of breaking into the high 12's
  7. Rev210..... I specifically said it makes a very good cold air box. the pipes have a 6mm thick layer of wrapping. The foil/foam from Clark rubber is by comparison pretty rubbishy. If you want the best I guess you have to pay for the best....... and , having seen my turbo glowing orange ....I want the best
  8. Hmmm! I've only been there twice but I did not get any impression of being rushed through
  9. Try GSA Wholesale Suspension, 7 Aranda Str Slacks Creek, they know what they are about.
  10. In Brisbane the place to go is Insulation Supplies, 330 Curtin Ave (west) Eagle Farm. 07 3268 7399. They are specialists in insulating materials. I'm sure there will be an equivalent place in all the cities. They also have 10mm foam sheet with aluminium facing one side, self adhesive the other, I used a double lthickness of this to make my cold air box and it is very very effective.
  11. It seems to be a knee-jerk responce when looking for more power along with whacking on a bigger turbo. It seems to me the advantages of the AFM for any street driven car far outweigh any perceived disadvantages
  12. Hmmm!! 1.1bar=15.9541512 psi
  13. Could have broken or disconected the linkage at the bottom of the gear stick so gear stick moves but doesnt do anything and the box stays in the gear it was in when it broke. If this is the case it's a fairly easy and inexpensive fix. Pull the gearlever out to find out
  14. You'd only go for the iridiums if you were running higher boost, say 1.2bar up. As for the platignums it has been said by quite a few people that they don't react well to octane boosters and other fuel additives. Some aftermarket ecus don't like them either. I would use the BCPR5 for stock, go to BCPR6 or even 7 for modified depending on extent of mods and Iriway 7 for modded with higher boost if you do drags or circuit work
  15. Ha! Should have guessed when I saw the price, thanks I'll get on to him
  16. int21h......Where did you get it from and do they have online shop

    My poor car

Steve It still feels like a boost cut to me though I don't know why it should come into play at only 9psi. Have you figured out how to run the diagnostics yet? If not give me a call and we can organise to do it. Another thing we can try is swapping in my boost control solanoid to check if yours is faulty....we should have thought of that the other day. When is the fmic and pod going in?
  18. I added a link to the 4 door burnout vid to my post in the Queensland Roll of Honour thread. I think this is what got us a 1.8 60ft time http://members.optushome.com.au/jay51/4%20...20JAY%20Vid.avi
  19. Somewhere in the settings you should be able to set a rev limit and a boost cut. I'm not familiar with the Power FC but someone on this forum will know On my EMC Duelsport I have set the soft rev limit at 7500and the hard limit at 7650 the boost cut I set to 1.35 bar 'cos my stock injectors were maxing out at 1.25 bar.
  20. Cresta Aust. 07 3245 1555 good variety of used Skyline bit
  21. It did look very nice indeed. I'd love to gat a copy of the front bar it's just what i'm looking for.
  22. Dave..... have you driven an R32 yet?? I think you would like the way it drives and handles a lot better than your R33.....especially for drifting. $7000 for an R32 sounds good to me. I would seriously consider selling the 33 and getting the 32
  23. Nissaner At 1.35bar sounds like you were getting boost cut.... it really rattles your teeth. Check what your boost cut is set to in the ECU
