  1. Hmmmm! Sounds like someone has been beavering away in the background while we've been chattering away on the forums. Well done guys....and I will be in it
  2. Ask your local Nisan Dealer
  3. Should be able to remove and replace a broken stud easily enough , may have to remove the manifold to provide access though.
  4. Autobarn about $36 per roll couple of different pattens and colours including carbon fibre, don't know how much is in the roll though looks to be enough to do your dash and centre console
  5. Super suction Kit is a different set up entirely though it looks like it has the Power filter on the end
  6. The globes just plug in from the back just like other lights. There are 2 bolts holding the unit in one at each end The outer one is accessed through a square cut out in the bar above the outer inlet cutouts
  7. do a search of the performance and maintainance forums using short shift as a key this subject has been well covered in previous threads
  8. He just bought a nice looking car he has no idea what's in it....or on it for that matter

  10. Could be 12 L I recall seeing somewhere that it was 7L and the R33 has 65L tank
  11. Intake air temp on a hot day on the move is usually around 40-43degrees. Sitting in the staging lanes on Wed night it was running 55-63degrees at the end of the 1/4 mile it was back down to 42 degrees. A bit of a burn out brings it down from around 50-55 to 45
  12. Hmmmmm!.......sounds like it might have been a very quick trip home , despite several stops to adjust boost levels.....
  13. 96 series 2 4 door pearlwhite, auto. Fmic and zorst , after market chip. I spoke to him briefly. Didn't get his name. Very nice car I saw him do 14.85 which pissed me off no end , my best was 15.06... Mick and I got 3 runs together he got 2 out of 3.....claims he was being a good son in the 2nd I went from 2nd to 5th in the third. All in all I think his car is quicker. It was a good night I got 8 runs in then MRE turned up and stole my helmet... no burnouts in the staging lanes this time .........he's maturing nicely.. Only one holdup for oil on the track... an old Ford V8 I think... much better than the usual Sat night performance. I heared that some one in a "shitty"green Skyline went down the track 3 times without a helmet...... come on now .....own up.. All in all 1st and 3rd Weds promise to be pretty good . japtaxi....come over and have a chat.......goes for anyone else out there too......all the other "grumpy old men" out there seem to be driving old Fords or Holdens... Is there something wrong with me???
  14. Anybody else going to Willowbank tomorrow night . Ist and 3rd Wed. every month starting tomorrow, gates open 5pm runs start 5.30pm. Now we get to compare Micks new R32 against my R33. If he beats me.....it's straight to bed for him....without any supper...

  16. It is wire 53.......however some people have reported problems in other areas when they cut it, others have had no problems..........your choice
  17. Neither of the poll options are actually colours
  18. use Spraycan contact adhesive instead of PVA but get good quality stuff not the sh*t from the Dollar saver places. A friendly car upholsterer sold me 2 litres of the stuff to use in my paint spraygun
  19. Thing is....is the lever solid all the way down??? If so it should be allright but you need to turn it down to the right diam on a lathe then cut a thread in the new top end to take the gear knob. I've got an eight ball on top of mine ( go the '60's ) . I've been thinking about doing it to my C's shifter so I can use a gate instead of the leather boot. C's shifter about $A600 from Taka kaira
  20. Don't worry Sciby your maidenhood is intact. I believe RS is a Jap aftermarket performance parts maker. We have lowered RS springs on Mick's R32 and they are excellent. Better ride than my Whiteline coilovers.

  25. Hi Sciby I had the origional bar on when I first got my fmic The fitters had a lot of problems because it has to fit inbetween the fog/ind lights. I ended up with a custom job from ARE 630x300x75. to fit it the guys mangled the inner attachment points for the fogs so I had to bodgie up some brackets to fix them in. Later on I had a look at the installation and by dropping it 3/4 of a inch it would have fitted ok and in fact does so in my current big bar. So a slightly smaller ic or cleverer fitter should have no problems. link is to Photo 350Kb sorry I should mention Richard at ARE just made the ic did not do the pipework or fitting I had to ditch the upand down spoiler at the front too....no room for the motor though I'm sure that with ingenuity you could keep that too http://members.optushome.com.au/jay51/Trac...20Day%20008.jpg
