  1. It's even got the JPNZ logo on the cover $160 including freight to your door. It's misleading too it covers various engines but not the rest of the car
  2. MRE Glad to see you haven't written it off yet. I believe the comp is bracket racing but I could be wrong. You can print out an entry form from the Jamboree site I think it was $50 + you pay for the day licence and crew member at the gate. Come join the fun I'm expecting Birty to organise a cheerleader squad.
  3. Heh Shell ! I'm a bit of a dog.......but I got a red nose, pant pant
  4. As subject says ............looking to buy a complete engine package or front cut including gearbox 5 speed, RB25DET
  5. 4 Doors Rule here's mine with its red nose on http://members.optushome.com.au/jay51/our%...oftby%20006.jpg
  6. Don't know anyplace online..........but i'm looking at a hard copy right now, cost $160 inc postage from www.jpnz.co.nz

  9. Sorry about that Shell...... However, day before yesterday I finished my coldbox and intake from the front bar so the RED nose went back on to accomodate it :D
  10. Actually I was taking it pretty easy.......first time on the track and all so everyone was going round faster than me. but at that point I came onto the straight in 2nd changed up to 3rd at 6800 then it's just a full on blast in third and 4th. So full on in 3rd the WRX just blew my doors off as did a Lancer something or other and a Lotus Elise in pretty much the same situation...... a bit disapointing given the Skyline's "Reputation" as a performance vehicle.
  11. Willowbank trackday 17th Aug Start of main straight..... and things are as they should be unfortunately they didn't stay that way http://members.optushome.com.au/jay51/047.jpg Sorry....can't get this url to work
  12. If they'r sticking out it's because you've got the wrong offsets or tyres are to big for your rim width. I've got 9.5ins rims on the back with 255's and there's no problem with clearance at all. 265's also fit with no problems
  13. I wouldn't touch it ....... if you open the boot you'll see that the origional twin afterburners have been removed...... those silly porthole things are just an attempt to disguise the fact
  14. red900ss Try 44psi front 45psi rear it might surprise you.... thats for the race track.... NOT the street or dragstrip. 37 and 38 would be typical pressures for an interstate trip or normal street if you tend to push things
  15. ooops!! That was the wed night drags I was referring too. However I'll be there on Sat 17th. Look for a silver 4 door Skyline GTS25T............ like to have a look at your turbo Capri
  16. Yep quite a few of us should be there.......see events thread
  17. On the R33 the foglamp switch is on the headlight stalk just inboard of the headlight control it is a rotary one same as the headlights
  18. might need a restraint loop for the tailshaft regarding tyre pressures for drag strip lots of people lower the REAR only to around 15 to 18psi if running street tyres for track work it is more usual to raise pressures all round to around 45 to 50psi...........I would advise you to ring the state headquarters of whichever tyre you want to use and ask their tech department for advice...... not the local tyre fitters or the people (including me) on this forum. Remember.... the idiot who advises you to run lower pressures in anticipation of overheating raising them again will NOT be sitting beside you when one of them blows out
  19. link not fixed
  20. Hmmmm! The nice thing about the Power FC and now apparrantly the Microtech is they replace the factory ECU and sit there instead of it behind the panel trim and so are unlikely to be picked anyway. My EMS sits under the passenger seat and has just 3 I think wires spliced into the factory ECU so is much more conspicuous. All up cost including fitting tuning, hand controller and software for the laptop was $A2600 ....how does this compare with the Microtech seeing as I can't find prices anywhere.
  21. | hype ^ | I'm following this path with my R33 at the moment but am using a GTR intake instead of the stock one , it flows about 2 to 3 times as much air. I've diced the standard air box all together and am using a pod filter and fitting the intake into the top of the new cold air box which is basicly a partition to close it off from the engine bay and a lid which the intake fits into. You get quite a lot of air in around the headlight too and a ram tube down to the front bar is not needed..... at least not until you get up around 600 700Kwts. I'll post a couple of pics in this thread tomorrow of the cardboard one i'm using at the moment. Also I'm using an EMS computer so have diced the air flow meter as well.
  22. My engine is in good condition. These mornings in Brisbane I get 4.5 to 5.5 on the standard gauge when starting from cold thats at fast idle when fully hot it 3.5 to 4 at idle and a little more about 4.5 at around 2000 to 3000 I'm using Shell Ultra 5W 40W full synthetic. If I were you I'd get it checked out by a competent workshop be fore I upped the boost "cause it sounds to me like your main bearings are shot and you are heading rapidly for another engine rebuild
  23. IKEYA FORMULA sequential shift currently only available for the S13 and R32 GTR from Taka kaira.com abour $A2500 including freight
