  5. September was a definate no go for me , January is a distinct posibility. Depends on my wife's schedule. we would both love to do it, I will chat her up and get back to you in a couple of days Need definate dates as soon as possible
  6. Not a bad turn up, Me, Mick,Slip, MRE, BOOSTMEISTER, Birty, Nismogirl and her quiet partner and a couple of others that I didn't see. Also a guy called Ken in an R34. I ran against him on my last run, I had him all the way then he blew past me about 40 meters from the line and did me by about 0.026. me 14.813 him 14.787. Mick's best was 14.167 so we are continuing our trend of a new personal best each new meet.
  7. Hmmmmm.................. Looks like we might have to vote on it
  8. Yep not worth the hassle I got the Uniden 042 in case I want to go hands free. I also got one of the $39 speaker/mikes for $10. It's a special offer on now at DSE when you buy the 040 model Are we going to be using Channel 33 for Skyline stuff??

I'm in, hope to see some of you Wed night at W'bank
  11. Check out the Yellow pages for Plastic Welding there are heaps of places. Fibreglassing doesn't work too well on PP+EP which is what the front bars are made of they are fairly hard to weld too because of the EP additive
  12. ONARUN Some of us are interested in forming a club. The idea of the meetings is just to try and get people face to face to gauge the interest level.............. so far it's been a bust , looks like the S.E. Queensland sector wants to remain just a forum. Me? I'm going looking for an active car club that will welcome a 4 door Skyline. :burnout:
  13. In the R33 that sensor is on the dashboard face behind the steering wheel
  14. He was 21 last month. I only let him drive alone on the track. On the road he has to have me in the passenger seat screaming SLOW DOWN SLOW DOWN. :O
  15. Hehehe! it's a bit of a trap, I bought another Sunlight sender from the wreckers befor I read that about the sunlight. Sure enough I ran the diags again with a torch shining on the sensor and it workes fine. So now I have a spare one cost me $10
  16. Are they the stock GTR guages ?? Look just like the GTS except the tacho is red lined at 8000. I paid $750 for the White face Nismo GTR panel speed 320 revs 11000
  17. Tell your dad jay51 lets his son drive
  18. Quote do u need the indicators/spotties too? Are they spots or fog lights
  19. You can download entry forms from the Willowbank Raceway website http://www.willowbank-raceway.com.au/
  20. KILLER-T hmmmmm...... perhaps I was a little harsh, I apologise. rev210 has given good advice, i'll give you a warning. There are an awfull lot of shonky people out there, some of them with quite reputable names( from personal expearience ,this goes for the V8 mob too) the time to find out about them is befor you start. From your post you don't know too much about what you'r doing.... that was a short list you posted yet a lot you hadn't thought about and some you'd never heared of. You should be doing a lot more research and reading. You try to double the factory output you can end up with a s**t hot Skyline thats a pleasure to drive or an expensive malingering mongrel that's a pain in the a**e to own. I along with everyone on these forums would like you to have the former. To get this you need to put the effort in before you start. If you don't ......you'r an idiot.
  21. Sledgy there is nothing wrong with the gauge, he has good vacuum at idle
  22. ""Nissan bearings and gasket set (do i need to use genuine nissan ones or is there a cheeper after market set "" You'r spending that much money !! looking for that much output!! and you'r looking for a cheap gasket set!!!! you'r an idiot
  23. Hmmmmm......... How old did you say you were Shell ?
  24. Skyline King What do you think ? are you still interested in organising a DynoDay ? Where When How much ?
  25. that's what I did to mine ,you get quite good airflow through there. You could close off btween the inner and outer guard around the wheel side of the cutout that might pressurise it a bit. I still have the stock inlet in place except I swapped it for a GTR one. Eventually it will be sealed into the top of the cold box
