  3. I've found that White Knight brand spray cans work very well. Start with Super Primer then your color choice then Instant Satin Clearcoat. The satin clearcoat gives a soft sheen finish instead of a high gloss. maxkhor White Night Squirt Metalic Grey would look nice in your car. knore Try matt black with either a matt clearcoat or the satin clearcoat. Pic is window switch surround 50/50 standard and Metalic Grey with strip of satin clear dividing them satin was put straight on plastic (not a good idea) Brown color is photo error http://members.optushome.com.au/jay51/Pain...parts%20003.jpg
  4. Standard 12V 21W bayonet Indicator Globes. If they have the fog lights as well they take 12V 35W. easy way out take them out and take them with you when yu get replacements
  5. Hi Have you towed any of the race cars yet with the Stagea? Used your suggested suspension settings on my R33 track car's first outing....result very good, pretty neutral handling with good front end turn in. thanks

  7. 1 thing I get sick of, is bods who don't fully read and understand posts before they jump in with a reply. I did say 'learn how to'. The tech forums here and on SDU are full of info on just about all aspects of Skylines, but it needs a bit of effort to search and find what you need rather than just being the 100,000th guy to post asking the same question. There are plenty of people here more than willing to help out. Paying for the convenience all too often becomes paying for the INconvenience of being f*ucked over by a 'professional' Pay for a job....you have to pay again next time it needs doing. A reasonable quality tool lasts forever
  8. Very funny In more than 40 years of owning and running various performance cars I've learned the hard way that if you want something done properly....learn how....then do it yourself. Running something like a Skyline especially a GTR on the kind of budget most of us have, we just cannot afford to Pay people to do simple things like remove and replace bits of our cars. With just a jack, a car stand and 2 suitable spanners it should take about 20minutes to remove a suspension strut, there are only 3 nuts holding it on. Your car can't get damaged if it's sitting safely at home while you take the struts in for rebuild. :spamcan:
  9. Why don't you guys just take the shocks in by themselves. Glenn....How is life with Godzilla??
  10. I've got an original C's in my 4 door and it works a treat. How much are the C's copies and where can you get them I want one for my 2 door. From what I've heard ,they work just as well as the C's original

two.061 Had first crack at these, however, he has declined so they are still up for grabs. I'm asking $650 + transport. I don't know which model they came off but bolt spacing appears to be 115mm centre to centre
  14. Would cost a small fortune to completly rewire something like a Skyline. In your case I'd be down to an auto electrician fast before you lose the car
  15. If there is any problem with the hicas the dash light should stay on and hicas will not work ie no 4w steer. You can test the system in car.Check out the online Skyline manual "The Sky is the Limit" on http://www.meggala.com/book.html
  16. Well...yes actually....or at least try to :bonk:

    R33 Parts

Front right light ...if you mean the headlight assembly.. i have one $150 + courier
  18. I've heard good things about the R1R's, says they wear well, warm up very quickly so are good for low lap events like sprint days where you usually do about 5 laps max. I believe they grip better than the Falkens too
  19. What are the figures they gave you for the settings left/right , front and rear
  20. shouldn't make too much difference. Best fit for 245 is 8.5ins. RS-V04 is designed for track....sidewalls should be much too stiff for drag. The bit of extra stretch should make them even stiffer. General opinion seems to be ...Falkens are good value for money but a couple of secconds a lap slower than the D01's
