Now that you mentioned food.... The sticky date pudding at Indiana Tea House has got to the one of the best in Perth. Its a little dear but the serving is quite large. Nice to have on a cold winter night with some hot tea! Yummy!!!

Paul, Yes I am expecting it to be ready mid-late next week. I can't wait to be able to drive again. Its been a hassle the last couple of months not having a car to take me places.
-
Paul, The block was at SST on Tues. Jeff just needs to get the engine mount free so he can start assembling my engine. Steve says that if I am really lucky I may be able to get my car on the dyno this Sat. But I doubt it as this morning a black cat walked in front of me as I walked under a ladder to avoid the shards of broken mirrors I left on the floor.
-
Morning Paul, Cam and Niz. We haven't met Niz, but I'd like to wish you a happy birthday for this Sat.

Good morning ppl. I am happy today as we had a nice win in indoor soccer. We came from behind to win 3-2 against a higher grade team . Now I feel buggered.
-
Bayley, I know I am 4 days late but, yes I am in Technology Park and my car is in your dad's garage at the moment. Its the burgundy R33 missing the engine. We are thinking of putting in an electric motor to be good to the environment

Paul, Steve was trying to convince me to put together 2 rb25 to make it a V12 and twin turbo it. We just needed to push the firewall back so that I sit in the back seat to drive. Problem was, visibility was an issue and I can't hang my arm out the window while I drive to look fully siiiick!
-
Paul, Don't worry Paul, I have no intentions of taking your crown as Postwhore King. Not sure about the engine though. I haven't been back since Wed. I think they are having problems welding the other 2 cylinders I asked them to add to the rb25

Hey Squizz, Is that a gi you're wearing in the pic?

Morning Paul. Yeah my bro got a fluffy toy of Patrick for his birthday. Its so funny! Adrian, Just be aware that Doctors recommend you only watch a max of 2 SpongeBob episodes daily, otherwise it messes with your head
-
Adrian, Its a cartoon, I think the 2nd series has just finished, but it used to be on at 730am. You gotta watch it. Patrick the starfish has got to the the funniest cartoon character ever!

M & H in O'Connor, it cost me $350 I am sure Lombardi Bros in Bentley will do a good job too and they are ard the same price.
-
Congrats on the job Dan! Although the gym offer sounds good, I think I need to gain some weight first. At the moment I need to run around the shower to get wet and I'm all busy with my marital arts, soccer and latin. BTW it was nice meeting you at Cabin. I was the asian guy with the goatie.
-
I got it running in mine too and I also have rotational idle. For the price, it is great. I got it done at SST. The Wolf v4 is fully upgradable so new features can be installed as they are released. Rotational idle basically shuts one cylinder down (no fuel, no ignition) per revolution while the car is idling. Therefore, one cylinder has cool air running through it which helps cool the engine.

Congrats on the dyno results Jeff and it was a pleasure to finally meet you. (Sparco boot clips and Jordan shirt remember?)
-
Dan, We have never met but it'd be nice to be able to put a face to a name. I'll drop by and introduce myself. I look forward to seeing your beast. I will be manning the "Wheelspin" stand so drop in and say hi if you see an asian with a goatie and number 1 haircut.

When I push my car hard, the dipstick blows out and sprays oil all over my engine bay. Just wondering if anyone else has this problem. If so, what have you done to rectify it? Thanks

Precise Suspensions & Automotive are in Wangara and I think they do some of the import shops in that area so they may be another alternative.

According to the article in "carpoint" the FPV GT was aimed at the HSV Clubsport & R8. Although the Ford has more power, it needed it to compensate for the extra weight. They mentioned that it handled better than the Holden due to the Blade IRS, but it suffered from a lack of LSD (I think). Ford wants to leave room for the GTP and GTO in the future which would target the HSV GTS.

I also remember reading somewhere that the EMS has data logging and any discreprencies in boost, power, a/f ratio etc will be recorded and may void warranty. I also read in "autospeed" that the gearbox is fairly weak and may be prone to breaking with any serious mods. Apparently, the auto gearbox is stronger. Anyway, I doubt that the Ford engineers would too keen to let the XR6 turbo outperform the XR8 which is rated at 260kW and 500Nm.

In my dealings with purchasing the Wolf from SST, I had been told that it was a quality unit for a reasonable price. I had considered other options and talked to people that run it. I was never misled into thinking that it was superior to Motec or Autronics. In fact I was told that if you had the budget they were the way to go. This was clearly pointed out to me from the beginning. I am sure there are truths in every argument, but in the end it all sounds like nonsense. Lets keep the forum clean and free from accusations. In the end there are no winners.

Hey, anyone here interested in basketball? A friend of mine is organising a 3 on 3 comp at ****burn on the 9 March. There will be 3point and dunk comp too. His previous comp had a great turn-out so this one is going national, with sponsors like Red Bull, Qantas, Hilton..... Even if your not interested in putting a team together come down and watch as there will be a DJ down there all day.

Yeah Curtin have this every year for the graduations. I was there last night and it was so funny as you could hear all the car alarms set off as the fireworks began. *Runs off to car to stop car alarm from setting off*
