thanks guys i did the flush and oil change and now use fully synthetic turbo light specifically designed for turbo cars $60 a bottle is enough. but there was a few others in the same brand that were $80-$100, but turbo light is fine for me, as my engine is running stock internals and stock turbo

long as i can fit the box and the amp beside it im cool with that, except weekly shopping may have to be done another way

WTB: still chasing a S1 R33 front bar, must be able to fit FMIC, must not be too big, and preferably KH2 dark grey s1 coupe color. NEED THIS WEEK, will need to come with indicators and all wiring/and or clips to fit onto my car !!!!

by looking at trust on google, that is the bar I have, its too low, scrapes everywhere

okay need genuine help, I have to replace my front bar, it has cracks in it mostly from the prev owner it is tooo low, it looks like 400R, anyways I have found a type M bar which is a few inchs smaller off the ground and looks neat but they want 300 for it including the lights! I am having a hard time finding a decent bar for my car under 500 bux its a s1 R33 coupe. cant be factory becoz of the FMIC.. what do you guys think of the type M bar

hi, i have an r33 s1 coupe, looking at buying a front bar KH2 grey, the current one i have looked like 400R n its way too low and has cracks in it.. I was looking at a type M bar? i need it to fit fmic. also looking at maybe getting a boost controller to change the boost up and down and to see what boost i am doing on my stock turbo but it has the rb32 actuator? maybe an ecu tune of some kind? REPLY ASAP WITH INFO PICS

im new sorry, and its like there a half sec of nothing then a pop kinda sound when the turbo cuts in? and not ignitition its like it holds for a second before it pop or makes the turbo sound like a pop as there is no BOV there is a slight sound at the rear? and not rattling just puff or pop sound when it gets to a certain RPM range and then it feels as if the turbo cuts in but its like a lag before the turbo cuts in and or pops

heey guys, just wondering since changing the actuator to R32 should I get a tune? like the car runs quicker but still average at the 0-60 mark? can i tune my standard ecu at all? will it make much difference? or wat should i, could I do to make the car have more response?

Hi hoping you can help or anyone? i am new to skylines, just wondering if this is right (ill try explain in my own words!) driving the skyline, increasing throttle, rpm hits and then about a half second delay then the goosh boost sound comes on, then further up the rpm again around 7000 rpm another 1 sec delay like the car hits 7000 and holds it for a second then the boost kicks in? is this normal for the car to hold for a second before the boost hits in? doesnt feel right to accelerate and then feel it spool up but takes a second for that boost pop sound? can someone enlighten ME

Okay guys as some of you have learnt I am new to this forum and skylines in general, I am the ultimate NEWBIE but I am willing to learn and take criticism to a degree - anyways I am looking at getting a new front bar for my skyline r33 s1 coupe, it is dark grey KH2 code, the current bar looks like it may be the 400R but its heaps low, like scraps hard on most driveway and thus has some nasty cracks on the bottom so I was looking at getting a new front bar sooon, I like the R33 GT or Type M bar looks neat without being overkill and not too low. you see my rear is standard wing like it goes from one side of the boot to other with a gap between it and the boot and im sure its standard. so the front bar is out of place. what would you suggest for another bar; aftermarket is fine as long as its not too pricey or overkill, want the car to look somewhat standard but stylish? - ALSO, i was looking at maybe changing the rear spoiler I love the bigger GTR wings but I assume they would be high priced, but is there something similar aftermarket?? - I also really like the R33 GTR grill, compared to the standard one, Is there any way to put them into a standard r33 just for the look and style, almost like a mock up r33?? - also is there any place in ADELAIDE, that does like stickers/decals for the side of a skyline, maybe a picture or a design for the door or the guard, looking at getting something put on for a little more style and originality. maybe even a superman symbol sticker for the side or the window for myself but good quality and colors?? - does anyone have any parts like front bumper for R33, or decent easy to install boost controller for my car, that I can use to read the boost and maybe change it up and down if I need? I am running the R32 actuator so it boosts alright just seems to hit top rpm and lag for a second before that boost hits? like it will rev out to 6/7 rpm then for a second later it will boost sound like woosh? - okay is there anyway to tune the stock ECU i have on the R33 to make a difference in the low range rpm, because being auto and in drive, the car is average from 0-60/70. then starts climbing nicely to 80-90, then really opens up, but id like to tune it abit to make some difference low and high end overall?? is it simple and can it be done? how much price?? - does anyone have a HICAS bar to lock off the HICAS it keeps lighting up and pissing me off!! I think that is about it for now, would appreciate some feedback and response to this and see what i should do to my car THANKS GUYS

Hi, yes i have FMIC and CAI and 3inch turbo back+hi flow cat, stock 5psi actuator seen 134rwkw, now i have r32 actuator im hoping at least 30rwkw increase, and then push for another 30 with a tune or something without changing turbos, surely you can reach 200RWKW off a stock rb25det with little mods I have mentioned? thanks

thanks, i was hoping there could be other mods without changing the turbo? or can you get a decent turbo for a few hundred and just straight swap? just after 200rwkw

Hypothetically i get an increase of 30RWKW, that will make it 165RWKW, what would be the next best thing to do to this engine to make it say hit the 200RWKW mark and be safe for stock engine and running gear? just after some informed opinions, the next best mod or change to get it to the 200 RWKW mark

Well, I got it dynoed a week ago, completely stock turbo 5psi, 134rwkw which is pretty basic for a stock rb25det (auto), i was told boost it to 10psi could get another 30rwkw maybe? will have to find out

Hi guys, I have to give a huge shout out to Ruby - not only was he spot on and efficient with the job of installing the actuator and doing the oil change, he was also a patient and decent person, glad to have met him. The actuator was on within minutes, didnt notice much straight away on the drive home, but after leaving the car over night and starting it this morning, I noticed the change straight away, acceleration was smoother but quicker, less throttle then before with more power, turbo would work sooner, and the more throttle more power then before, so yes I have noticed a nice increase in power very happy $200 for actuator and service and car runs great, much smoother and quicker when I needed it. ( by the way the actuator is only a minor mod, maybe a 20-30rwkw increase id say but the power is there, decent difference from 5psi to 10psi happy indeed) thanks guys and thanks again Ruby

Thanks guys/gal, I have got hold of an r32 actuator off an engine that had around 80,000km so thats a bonus, ruby has offered to install it whenever is convenient, hopefully the 10psi comes on and holds longer for my engine, It has done 186,000kms, and is well due for an oil flush and change, which i am hoping to do ASAP, I am willing to buy the oils/filters required and then someone to do the job! thanks for all your kind words ppl

thanks again for the advice, well I want the extra boost, just need someone local in ADEL who is able to do it for me install the actuator that would be great, SO PM OR EMAIL ME ASAP i want to get this done asap

okay?? is there any difference in reliability and performance? or just price? either way I need someone who can install it properly

HI GUYS I rang a few local jap places and only 2 stock an r32 actuator for the turbo factory actuator is $95 at the 2 places i found. NOW I NEED someone who can come round and simply fit it for me, if you can do this and are free anytime today/tonight i am in western subs of ADEL and would love someone to fit this to my car if you are sure it will make my car run 10PSI constant boost on stock turbo setup THANKS PM ME or email for my number EMAIL: [email protected]
