i did have this issue once aswell with a mates 33.. seemed to have fixed it by putting on a pod..

As the name states, has anyone used torque pro android app with a obd 2 Bluetooth module? I ordered a 14pin to obd 2 cable for $7 and elm327 for $18. This would be awesome to display gauges and also check fault codes on a Samsung galaxy s3. Car r33 gtst s2

yeah i understand but i honestly dont consider the turbo to be a critical component in the car.. its the other supporting mods like injectors, afm etc that will initially keep the car running healthy into greater power that compliments the turbo to perform well.. there is a bit of lag,, but i love it.. you feel the sudden power at around 3000 (full boost)

dont have a dyno chart, but when ever i get a chance. will post it up

times are changing indeed!! why bother getting a power fc, piggy back etccc etcccc,, when you can buy a 150 dollar mines ecu running nearly 18pounds with a few very light mods... approx 220-230 at the rears,, now thats all i want and need im a happy camper! but yeah obioviously if you want more power,,, next stage is spending big bux on a ecu, then a turbo, then supporting mods, which will cost you another 2k or so ( to get another 50-100 kw rise ) ..

ive done about 20K on it since install.. it is supposedly meant to run with bigger injectors without further tune (not that mines ecu can be tuned) .. not sure about the z32 (still running a stock afm) . just have the little bolt ons, eg, big return mount ic , bosch fuel pump, series 6 sparkies, pod, 3 inch exhaust..

i bought a ebay cheapo about a year ago.. $400 .. took out the old one and replaced with the new one my self. it was a direct bolt on. internal gated. Unfortunately this turbo had a bare minimim of 10psi actuator.. BUT luckily had the mines ecu.. had to get a 3inch inlet for the turbo intake $100 bux, and has been running mint ever since,,.. also makes a sweet wine sound when bulding up from 2000 and 3000 rpm.. i run 17psi for runs with electronic boost controller.. .. just make sure you do the absolutel necessaries eg.. fill the turbo with oil before you stick it in, change to fresh oil, new and flush water coolent, dont boot it when first installed - let it run in for a thousand k's.. i could NOT BE ANY HAPPIER!! the joy of keeping up to a 260rwk xr6turbo with a cheap turbo.. absolutely amazing

due to upgrade - it's been siting in the garage for 6 months. needs to go .. comes with elbow.. one oil/water line? (the one which curls in a cirlce) pick up from south east suburbs melb $250 be quick!

after a black bonnet for r33 gtst not fadded or stone chips. can be picked up from melbourne. and possibly i can pay for shipping if need be.

i have a stock r33 turbo - $200 2 x Stock r33 intercoolers - $20 each Stock fuel pump - $30 Squeeking starter motor (still works) - $15 if anyones got a Front left tie rod end, give me a buzz.

after a black r33 s2 bonnet with no paint fade and chips. not sure if the black colour is standard or after market.. but it looks factory paint.

its internal actuator.. cant really do much about it.. just gota boost it up more to hold at a high psi.

i recently got put my cheapoo in a month ago.. runs realyy nice.. only problem is the constant boost spike (goes to eg 18psi - and trails off to 15 or so.. ) but thats probly due to the crappy actuator that they stick in.. after the upgrade, i put iridium bkr6eix plugs, cleaned the afm, aac , intake piping,.. car runs smoooooooothhhhhhhh on 16-17 psi .. mines ecu definetly puts a good bang for ur buck!!
