I understand they have developed over the years but I'm my experience with them I won't use them again iv used both a 25 highflow and a td06 and I would much rather a td06. To the op the 20 setup will work if you use a rb20 tps and buy a td06h-20g 10cm or td06sl2-20g 10cm. I used the td06h 8cm on a rb20 and it made a very fast car and fun to drive. All that really needs deciding on is if you want internal gate or external gate

Another newby on the seen I see. The water pump creates flow and yes water expands causing pressure. Also a small warning be very careful how you talk to people that have been around a while or be prepared to be written off big time also try to know people proffesions before making a comment like that

Highflow turbos where good 10 years ago because everything was a lot more expensive so it was a cheap option snd fairly effective in saying that they are now out done by cheaper turbos. The td06 is a perfect turbo for a 20 iv used one myself and after using both turbos you have listed the td06 is much better

Make a check list snd work through it has it 100 tho service? I would Remove radiator hoses and flush out the radiator for a few min. Remove thermostat and water pump flush the engine I normally use lower rad hose. Also water pumps are fairly cheap not a common thing to break but replace it if you doubt it if it's hard to turn by hand then I suggest a new one anyway or a good secondhand one. If your local I can give you a hand if you need it

I have a set of apexi top mount manifolds in stainless the best collectors iv ever seen al but brand new. Apexi flanges removed needs flanges but will weld on flanges at buyers request for size. $500 Top mount cooler piping 2.5 into 3 inch $190 I can make 3 inch dumps to suite out of stainless again depends on buyers request can be made to suite skyline front pipe $450 Pm or message me 0449831518

You can go the same way dori34 or artz both external gated. I'm currtently doing another low mounted td06 with external gate off the manifold found a way to use stock crossover pipe so looks stock. If you pm me I can send you some photos so you get the idea
