I've only ever driven one r33 gtr and loved it, except the 4 wheel steer which I found was weird. so with importing I've only read a few threads and kinda have the bare basics on how it's done, what I'm worried about is extra hidden costs; if I go to an importer and ask them to find a vehicle for me, they do so and they state a figure, that wouldn't be drive away no more to pay kind of deal I'm assuming. So any advice for me?

Hi I'm brand new to the Nissan scene and this whole importing business, however I am very keen to look at getting a gtr vspec either a 32 or a 33 some time next year due to finances. Has anyone had any experience with Melbourne based importers? Currently I'm looking at SSV however I've only just started browsing and setting goals to get to my budget. Also are gtr's expensive to maintain? Coming from Honda I've no idea the running costs. cheers
