Thanks for the advice, in the quote i was quoted for alot more then which i think i damaged. I was quoted for removing seatbelts, retrimming rear quarter windows etc etc

Nah 3k is just the bumper itself not even shipped yet shipping is another 100 yea ill ask but if he doesnt agree is there anything i can do about it or do i just have to fork out 3k for a bunper and 2.5k for the labour?

Its an aftermarket bar so will nissan still know the price?

Well what happened was he told me the day after the accident it would cost roughly there i asked what they were fixing all he told me was rear reo, rear bar, clips and for them to rematch the colour. Fair enough i told him to go thru insurance as it was to much for me to pay in a lump sum, about a week later he told me he had no insurance so i needed to pay cash so i found it abit sus because on the day of the accident he asked if i wanted to fix it privately or handle it with his insurance

I thought the car was insured but when my friend came to claim turns out hus payments wernt going through n the insurance was cancelled a week before hand, and as for the damage if the other party chooses to fix it at a particular place do i have a say with that?

i recently got into a car accident and was uninsured at the time. The guy i hit said he went to a few smash repairs and said the quote to fix the damage was roughly 5.5k, i am no panel beater but i think is overpriced. i have uploaded pictures of the damage but the pictures arnt that good of a quality because they were taken on my phone,to sum it off the extend of the damage looks to be the rear bumper and the reinforcment bar was scraped but not pushed in. Can someone tell me if i am being roughted thanks for the help

Hey guys i was planning on changing my turbo to a garrett gt2860rs and when i took off the old turbos a few things needed to be changed so i was wondering if anyone could recommend a mechanic near the st peters area i could just tow the car to as i want the car to be running asap and if anyone knew how much labour would cost?old turbo is off the car atm so would need it towed so anything local would be good
