I Have a buttf**kton of photos, Just gave my camera to a mate with ADHD At the start of the day, Told him to play nice, and that id see him in the afternoon, Found him 2 hours later next to the NSX haha, Ill make sure i upload em all tonight. theres 300+ Photos lol, So if you were there there will most definatly be a few flicks of your car... Ill be sure to post a link here. -
Havnt had the car that long so excuse my noobness lol. The inspector showed me the exhaust when it was up on the hoist, From the cannon going back towards the front of the car there were 2 sections of exhaust that needed to be changed, so the cannon, and the next section which from memory was about a foot and a half long.
-
Should have prob mentioned thats its only the last 2 sections of the exhaust that i need, Inspector said the exhaust was stock up untill that point, everything after needed to be changed..

Hey Guys. I am looking for a stock R34 exhaust or similar to borrow for 1 day so i can pass my epa testing, Im currently running a 3' X-Force exhaust with a silencer but its still too loud -_- (97DB) and if i was to put a flange there id need to weild in my silencer (obv dnt wanna do that). So to pass my EPA Test on friday i need to fit an exhaust that will be quieter. I Was gonna go past an exhaust place and take a loan exhaust but figured id ask here first. SO! If anyone has a stock R34 exhaust or something that will fit thats quiet im happy to exchange a case of beer (Or drink of choice lol) In return for the exhaust for 2-3 days (Fit-Test-Disasemble) Im located in the hurstville area. willing to travel a bit to pick it up CHEERS GUYS!

SO! I went to get the car tested (I didnt modify or change anything, so the car was tested with FMIC, Boost controller, Full exhaust, BOV, Turbo timer, and aftermarket gauges) I figured i was stuffed, with those mods done, and no certs, anyway, the guy was great... Turns out, about 7 weeks ago the OEH Laws were changed... For the better as someone mentioned. Failed the exhaust test @ 97dB (7 over, QQ SOB SOB) BOV Wasnt plumbed back so i need to get that done aswell, Other than that the car passed, Which suprised me to be honest, i only need to make the car quieter and plumb back the bov and im sweet... So suprised that the boost controller was ok, ive been told on their own they are a pretty serious defect. Hope these results may releive anyones stress when they receive the dredded OEH Letter in the mail... Once again, Thanks everyone here for all their help and genuine concern...

So parked my car in a relativly quiet street in the eastern suburbs at my girlfriends place... Woke up sunday morning, jumped in my car to go to homebush, and this is what i find... Absolutly guttered, so upset that there are people out there with so little respect and that are just so inconsiderate.. Does anyone else have issues like this? I guess it could have been alot worse...
-
Far out, So lucky, Where abouts was the car? The things id do if i saw someone near my car...
-
Hey guys, Thanks for all your help, I called the office and they said my FMIC Was okay, all i need to do is plumb back my BOV and ensure my silencer is welded in. How hard is it to plumb back a Blow off valve, and where would be the best place to get my exhaust silencer welded in and compliance tested (Before i take it to be "offically" tested). Im in the st george area, Ive heard maybe menai exhaust?

Hey guys, So i got my skyline about a month ago (R34 GT-T), and i get my full license to drive it on Thursday (2 days) HOWEVER! I got this shitty little piece of paper (Or 3) in the mail today informing me my car is too loud, (Dont know how, i havnt driven it :S) its from the Office of Environment and Heritage, and says i need to take the car for a "Noise test and Anti-Tampering Inspection" How i got this, ill never know, the car has sat in my driveway for a month now, waiting to be driven... Now this 2 days before i can legally drive it FML I understand i might need to return the car to full stock condition, currently it has an aftermarket front mount inter-cooler, BOV, Exhaust, Turbo timer, and boost gauge. Can anyone offer me any advice on which station to take it to, anywhere to get stock parts, or wtf to do next! Im located in the South of NSW (Hurstville area) Cheers guys.

Alright, so i finally got around to getting footage of the issue, Excuse the shitty quality the video was taken from my phone. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oq29hpxnMXE

Hey guys. So i recently purchased my R34 GT-T all is going well so far just putting the new sound system in. Ive had a look on the forums for an answer with no luck, im hoping someone here knows the deal Anyway, we started her up today and took her for a spin around the block. When i take off, it seems that on the shadow boost gauge (Previous owner installed it) is very reactive to the throttle, and when i take my foot off the accelerator the boost gauge drops below zero and the red light will come on and an annoying beep noise, the gauge will slowly come back up to the Zero mark and the light and beep stop. I must also say in the stock boost gauge seems to be operating normally. I'm not too sure what the issue could be, weather its just the gauge has reset whilst putting the new sound system in (Battery did run flat when testing the system, however i cant find how to set up the boost gauge online, any advice for setting the warning on a shadow pro gauge would also be amazing) or could it be something a little bit more sinister like a leak somewhere down the line. Any help would be great, or any suggestion on where i could take the car to be looked at in sydney would be amazing. Cheers guys

Hey guys, On the weekend i decided to replace my shitty old stock system with a new aftermarket one. Ive removed the door skins and mounted the door splits, mounted the headdeck and amp's under each seat. Im now upto mounting the rear speakers, i purchased 6" JL audio speakers, However, when mounting them, the existing holes dont line up, !!! :S How would i go about soundly mounting the rear 6" Speakers without having to go to much trouble. I Understand the stock speakers are 6.5" Is there a spacer i can buy that will fit the existing holes and allow me to mount the new speakers?? Or would i be better off mounting the new speakers in the parcel shelf itself, rather that the metal frame located under the parcel shelf?? Any other advice would be great. Cheers, Daniel.
