  1. Hi guys, I had a buyer for the vipec do some investigation which we can all benefit from...this ecu suits all skylines from r31 thru to r34 across rb25, rb26, Gtst, gtt and GTR. However, it does not suit the r34GTR as the wiring for the CAS is apparently different. I can also say that this is better than a v44 (i.e. 4 injector drives and 4 ignition drives) as it has a v88 top board which includes knock protection + it has 6 injector drives and 6 ignition drives. This again is thanks to another sau member who is a tuner
  2. I did a search and couldn't find what I wanted...they call it a 'man look' hehe
  3. Hi guys, Not sure if u can help but I have an r32GTR fitted with tein super street coilovers. I did search the net in hope that I'd find settings depending on application, (i.e. street and track) but no luck. In the tein user manual it states that damper setting should be 12 clicks out from hardest setting and height should be 350mm front and rear from centre of hub to lower edge of guard. What is optimum for these settings and what is a good height? I also have adjustable front and rear upper arms and want to ascertain what camber I should run front and rear? I like tinkering with suspension settings on race motorbikes and wonder if I can do the same with my car? Is there a large protractor available where I can measure the camber? Maybe if the above is not possible, I can leave it to the experts such as Heasmans here in Sydney? Someone please shed some light
  4. Yeah I've had 2 power fc's back in the day and a lot has changed since then, even carbies were good back in the day as well Gotta luv the glitch u get every 15min
  5. That is gold. I'll add that to my vocabulary going forward. That deserves a discount on the vipec!
  6. Man look? I haven't heard that expression before haha
  7. Yes it is compatible for both GTR and GTST, as per sticker shown in the pic
  8. dump pipes have been picked up, sold. I am open to offers on the other parts guys
  9. All prices negotiable, these quality bits need to go to a good home
  10. I might have 2 brand new aftermarket fuel pumps to sell as well. I'm still a bit undecided.
  11. Awesome mate Where is the dyno graph? So is the walbro running independently as an intank pump? I've got one sitting in the garage still in the box...
  12. Forgot to mention that the vipec has a tune on it by ESP Racing in the ACT, it was running GTRS's with 700cc injectors and made 390kw @ 19psi
  13. Hi guys, These parts are off my GTR, all parts have done about 3000km as the car was hardly driven: Vipec V44 ECU - $1000 Sard 700cc injectors - $500 HKS dump pipes - $350 HKS metal gaskets (exhaust manifold, turbo intake and turbo outlet) - $100 Crank angle sensor - $150 I am based in Sydney and can post interstate
  14. Decided to wash and start the Scuderia, last registered in 06!
  15. cops ass, or should I say piggaz ass!
  16. I am too
  17. -5 on a mild 2.6, really just has a few bolt on mods. Running e60 so there is more in it.
  18. Thread bumpity bump! So I finally got my car back on the road...standard intank pump and my tuner strongly suggested I keep the surge tank with 044 so I did (for the reason that I'm making 430kw on e60). Has anyone since seen results of a pierburg pump on e85? Probably I can answer this myself as I think I've exceeded this option with the power I'm making + I will eventually run e85 which means I will need more flow. Surprisingly though, the 044 held up to the task on e60 but it's close to its limit hence there will be no room for e85. The question did arise 'what if your pump starts to deteriorate?' Not a good scenario, dangerous. So it's 2 options for me, either add another 044 in parallel to the surge tank OR replace the 044 with a new 044 and see if that makes a difference as possibly the current 044 is not performing at its optimal peak but again, I don't think this is the case purely because of the power it's currently supporting.
  19. ^ awesome, thanks for sharing
  20. point taken & yes, i guess in my case, moving from 1 tuner with the vipec to Unigroup with the BB may not be a fair comparison as i am not using the same tuner (BUT it does rev much quicker & drives better hands down), however, paul did run a link/vipec with Unigroup then moved to the BB on the same tuner...this to me is the best comparison u can get as it eliminates any tuners' differences or inadequacies. if u have met paul, he is pretty straight up & built like a little chicken - the point im making is that paul would be the first person to tell u that something is shit, even if he is using that particular shit part on his own car - the differences he experienced is aligned to mine - what more can i say
  21. Moving right along...how many ppl are actually running the BB in their car?
  22. It was my decision to move to the BB and that is it. For u to call it a piss poor effort really is piss poor on your part and who are u to criticize my decision making? Whether u choose to drive a GTR or Evo, I really don't care...as long as u are happy and I'd actually be supportive. Not everyone is the same I guess and to tarnish my decision or another brand is not cool.
