  6. I finally swapped out my turbos after contemplating for a year, yes it was a lot of fun but as long as you have a methodical approach it really ain't that bad (with the right tools, that kinchrome stubby ratchet set is a live saver)

  9. Thanks for highlighting guys, yes it is a plug-in version. Are the Extreme and V88 versions plug-in or wire-in? For me personally, I would only consider a plug-in being a street car. Minimal implementation = short turnaround time for go-live = win win! (I need to take my IT hat off hehe)

  12. Hi guys, I have had the power fc on 3 other GTR's in the past and agree about the glitch I experienced across all 3 accounts. I now have a vipec and at the juncture where I'm reaching the limits of the unit...I've ran out of inputs as I need more than one for the ECA and boost switch. I've also Exceeded the limits of the map sensor as it only supports 2.5bar = 22psi (I'm moving to a flex tune). For these reasons I'm going to the blackbox and after talking to Yavus, I was informed that the technical advantages is that you have control on fuel temperature compensation + the sequential ignition is dedicated to each coil pack via 6 dedicated outputs (rather than sharing each ignition output across 2 coil packs). The M3 is a scalable ECU. Hope that helps for all looking for information.
  13. The simple and logical way to approach the right turbo choice is to work back from the power u want to achieve, if you want 300kw go for X turbo, 350kw is Y turbo and 400kw is Z turbo...not rocket science imo

Hey Bob et al' One of my posts from early 2011 was just liked (thanks Vitalikea) which rejogs my mind about our initial chat on organising an ADM meet and cruise...unfortunately it will be geographically challenging for some ppl (sorry Ken) but I think we should still do this My car has been off the road for a year and finally will be registered again next week (fist pumps in the air).
