    Old thread bump here haha but I have my pierburg still not installed...I'm going to take the plunge and remove my surge tank with 044 and run this damn pump on its own, submerged in tank. I kinda feel like I'm going backwards by removing my surge tank with 044 but I don't think I need this setup for ~350kw

    that is a very valid point - i remember once my intank pump sucked up a piece of rubber from 1 of the mounts & it sat in the inlet (had no fuel pump filter, not my doing) and symptoms were slower revs maybe slower fuel delivery?

    I had a miss with my other gtr and the cause was a faulty coil pack (what do u expect after 20yrs of abuse). Splitfires fixed that. However, your above post throws my theory out as it definitely sounds more mechanical. I agree with u paul but its not an educated guess.

    What exactly triggers the miss? Is it just load on its own or a combination of load with high revs?
