  3. i totally agree with you - making an earlier model gtr quicker than the 35 in a straight line is not hard & can be done for less than 25k (with the right supporting mods, no short cuts etc). you just need to weigh up the costs though. for example, lets say an r34 costs you 60k + the above mods = 85k circa these days, u can pick up an 09 gtr for under 100k (not much difference really) if u want a 'nicer' & newer model car which u wouldn't need to modify, unless u wanted to fly to the moon = r35 if u went to a vs2, that would definitely hold its value better & in some cases, appreciate like the nur - just like the ADM R32 gtr
  4. but would u sell your great example for another BB r34? with regards to the r35 - i strongly advise u DONT go for a drive in 1...my mate just bought a black MY12 which is freakingly quick & i couldnt come to terms with the acceleration it had & the thing is stock as a rock! they now run 0-100 in 2.7sec (correction) & it literally bounds your head to the seat! i had the giggles from the g-force

  7. And this is where it ended up...a girl bought it, lowered it with extended swing arm and consistently runs 9.4sec Before u ask, it didn't have the pink bits on it when it was mine
  8. I cant see the link to that gixxer? The best 0-200 I could find on the gsxr was 7.5sec. Either that gtr had more work done to it or maybe the bike was a 750 or 600? My last bike was in fact a k6 with arata titanium full system and power commander - farken monster made 173.5rwhp! I could pick up the front eheel in 4th gear at 240kph...man i miss my bikes.

  12. It is dark but u when u get a clear view of the bikes headlight, u know the race is over Riding a bike on roll on is like a car, no real art other than change just under the limiter. It is going to be subjective at the end of the day Which is quicker but for those who ride bikes and understand howbfast they are, it is phenominal to see a near stock gtr play in the same field.
  13. Saw a white r35 at the three swallows hotel car park sat night. I was looking for a safe spot to park my wives forester xt as its a bit of a dodgy car park, she saw the 35 and comments "they'll take the 35 before they touch the subaru" haha I really like the silver and I'd say the white is up there too

  15. What yr model is your r1? Yrs ago I had a 99r1 with work done it, making 145rwhp...I ran that against my r32gtr which had 365awkw and I couldn't get away from it on the bike and we were rolling from about 80km to way over 200kmh. On that old dinosaur I got it up to 309kmh but that was it...I wouldn't accelerate past that point.
  16. And the net of that is a much better looking car without the HDI advertising. Nicks car surprised me...when it was making 320kw the power delivery was very responsive and hard! Perfect combination IMO...I can't even imagine what this new setup will be like! What can this new setup make Nick, over 400kw?

  18. Yeah just a tad too tight in a 32 but oil filter change off the block was a lot better

  20. If u watch it again, gtr punches ahead then the bike comes next to it momentarily...then the gtr pulls away again up top. Its definitely quicker than the gixxer
  21. Better than 38mm so clearance issues would be better and no adapter plate
  22. keir wilsons os giken rb30 is insane! if my income was not tied up in real estate & my engine went bang - this is the only way i'd do another rb30 (to keep the height the similar to the rb26) mark berry's r32 - great doco! i know kinda off topic BUT still within the over 400kw club

  25. hi guys, this is impressive - an r35gtr with an exhaust & retune is quicker than a current spec Gsxr1000. I used to race bikes & I can see that the rider knows how to ride so he is really pushing his bike: I find this incredible as the bike has 1:1 power to weight ratio - all the more kudo's to the mighty r35gtr!!! Enjoy
