  1. Reporting back with pricing: Michelin PSS $1550 Hankook RS3 $1150 Nitto NT05 $840 PSS is out of the question due to price plus the RS3 seems to be the pick of the bunch, based on feedback. NT05 is most appealing due to price and availability so the question I have is the RS3 that much better or are we splitting hairs? The extra $300 doesn't bother me...what would u guys go for, keeping in mind I'd be lucky to drive the car once a fortnight (sad huh)
  2. I saw that bob...day before it was 39k so I'd question the integrity of that ad
  3. So theoretically an rs3 being 200 would provide 2/3 of a typical life of a PSS at 300?
  4. Does anyone know the tread wear rate on the PSS as im lead to believe that they will last substantially longer than the rs3?
  5. Will do fiji I am waiting on a price on rs3, nitto nt05 and Michelin SS which I'll have by tomorrow and will share here...the supplier told me that the michelins are most expensive and that the rs3 and nt05 are about the same pricewise. Has anyone got any experience or feedback on the nitto nt05?
  6. Lol Paul is clown I'll ring around for rs3s
  7. The price of nitto invo and nt05 I like at only 1000 for the set from a local store in brookvale Sydney How much are the rs3s?
  8. Yeah it's just a weekend for spirited driving but I've got over 400kw so I want good grip. The SS u refer to had invo tyres right? How about the nt05 or is that more of a track tyre? RS3 has got my attention as the michelins are not cheap @ 1550 for the set (tirerack still offer international shipping)
  9. Hi guys I've been looking at 265/35/18 for my 9.5inch wide wheels...firstly, is this the optimum size for this rim? Secondly, I was considering the nitto invo OR nt05 but then it was suggested that the Michelin pilot super sport are pretty much the best as I rarely drive the car hence I don't want the tyres to go off as they will probably sit on my car for a few years at least...is this true? Lastly, tirerack quoted me 900 for the michelins plus 650 for shipping = 1550 landed...seems steep to me. Can anyone recommend any local tyre suppliers? I'm based in Sydney.
  10. It is still in her blood...even after 3 kids Has anyone here been in an r35gtr? It will be my next car once I cover off my other priorities
  11. I must that she is a rev head. About 10yrs ago when I first had my ADM, she raced a yellow ford xygt which was highly modified and absolutely anihiliated it from a set of traffic lights...I was extremely proud She also raced it around Wakefield and I couldn't believe the control she had when it was drifting all 4 wheels in 2nd and 3rd gear...I wasn't a good passenger and I have this on video.
  12. My wife claimed to the see the same car a few weeks ago in chullora but I was sceptical. She heard it run and said it had work done to it...she knows her GTRs as I educated her well. Aren't I a good man
  13. It was only a quick glance and yes the plates didnt look like local nsw plates...
  14. Stock rims Terry. Bob, surely the owner wouldn't be dumb enough to drive a car with plates registered for a Ford, taking into account today's number plate recognition technology police cars are fitted with? Then again I've seen some crazier things.
  15. Just spotted in South Hurstville a maroon ADM with plates 1959CF. Sorry couldn't get a pic...another one for the list which I need to update
  16. We have had no luck in tracking down the other 5. Ive looked for years on the net with nil result. Probably ended up as race cars hence cannot track them as registered vehicles, or written off
  17. Yeah Scuderia in VIC imported them and sold here as new. He has full documentation and the service log was a joke...7k for a service back in early 90s. My brothers car in particular was sold in 92 as it was on the showroom floor at Scuderia for its first 3 years of its life.
  18. It's a very low volume import which was sold locally and imported by Scuderia, all prior to the release of the ADM.
  19. Not really as they were sold here in Aust with local compliance. The changes on the Scuderia are not really far off the JDM, but then again the ADM is also not far off from the JDM which I think makes the Scuderia as valuable as the ADM...then again, Its probably the rarest R32 GTR which might even outweigh the ADM.
  20. My brother has owned 001 of 006 ever made Scuderia R32 GTRs since 1999 I think...it's original as per factory. Jet Silver Metallic Only 6 were made which was sold locally back in 89. It does not carry any ADM parts such as roof aerial, tail lights, side indicators etc. They were fitted with the n1 body kit (front bar snorkels, bonnet and boot lip) and also has unique Scuderia branded dash, bootlid badge and compliance plate). If u search the SAU rare skyline thread I did post pics a few yrs ago.
  21. I hear ya but this looks sweeeet
  22. I personally prefer no caps. My new set of TE37SL black edition don't have provision for caps
  23. U are best off cutting about 5mm off each side of the number plate. I don't have this problem with the ADM though as it has a revised 'australian compliant' number plate surround
