hey guys with another problem at hand again need your help. ive just bought a tps for my sereis 1 R33. i have done the acc valve cleaning,afm cleaning, new coilpacks ,sparkplugs,but cant fix my idle and very bad fuel economy. so i thought id try and replace my tps. ive pluged up the tps and let the car warm up to normal temp on idle with the tps conected and run very bad in missfires and shakes and just runs rich bad and bad fuel economy/performance. i disconect the tps plug and the idle sky rockets to around 1700/1800rpm and then adjust the screw to set it to around 1000 which is the limit as screw wont really go no more clockwise,maybe just alil more. but the car runs perfect smooth no smoke, nice note, turn it off no shaking nothing and no missfires. when pluged back in the tps it goes down to 500/600rpm and i adjust it back up to 1000 threw the screw and runs like crap all the things that stated above that run fine with it off are happening. am i doing something wrong in adjusting and that,i have a gready e-mange blue one and also my voltage on it is at 1.5v and thought it might be that to but not sure. any help would be great cause i have no idea wat to do and really missfires on idle and fuel is bad aswell as perfomance wise too.

i hadnt done it as the person said the engine was recoed so thought it wouldve been done or maybe not and only done 20,000ks and so thought not to touch it as i heard every 100,000k to change it...i even took the oil cap off to hear if it was coming from inside but it sounds more external. as it warms up it goes away when its getting warmer to its normal temp doesnt do it gone after 5 min or so. ill post up a video soon,ill try and get the sound of it clear.

Only want $50 for it....but do better price if your intrested in picking it up right away.

yea i no mine is in pretty not bad condition with the intake manifole

na its not the bottom end plus like i said only when cold for 5 or so minutes then goes away....sounds more to the right side from the cam cover near there.....im pretty sure if it was the bottom end it would not stop.

Coolant pipe,u mean the crossover cooling pipe? yea think the bumper is plastic.

Well i just thought as sinse they were old id change them plus in future in more power they be better for it with these ones but i see wat u mean if aint brocken dont fix it lol

well only paid $200 for them brand new so was a good price but just thought id replace them as they are 18 years old so yea...

hey guys, have a rattle/type vibration sound,the sound is like coming from the right side/turbo,it doesnt sound like an exhaust leak. when stating up when cold and only does it as i rev it up to 2000rpm and as soon as its dropping back half way down to normal revs it makes a like rattle drrrr vibration sound and as its warming up it goes away slowly till warmed up and then no more of that sound. any ideas or anyone experience this?

but i dont have solenoid valve i dont think. can i run it without one or something?

Hey guys, i have a MS-IBC - Gizzmo Boost controller the power is hooked up and the vacume line thingy is hooked up but theres just 2 more wires blue and red dont no where they go as ive heard maybe solenoid valve but i dont have that when i got the car,but it still worked before, but mechanic disconected it and want it back on again cause hate the tap controller spiking and all...any ideas anyone?

hey guys, i have just upgraded my coilpacks to yellow jackets but just had a look at my old ones that where on the car, cause when i bought the car never checked what coil packs it had so i had a look and they are nissan hanshin MCP-300 22433 60U02 and had a read there GTR ones but not sure.. Any idea what model or what there from? cause think i might have upgraded for nothing or which ones out of the 2 would be better in your opinions?

turned off the car and checked the muffler and gave it a couple of taps from underneath and can hear a rattle inside. Does that mean my muffler is no good now? does this affect perfomance or anything like that? what is a good muffler to purchase? ive got that 3a racing muffler on it which dont think is great but not sure.

so do i need to get a new muffler u reckon or can it be fixed cause ive checked the brackets that hold it up there and moved it around with car on and still doing it but its more from inside the muffler. how did you go about fixing yours?

hey guys just getting a vibration sound from inside the muffler,sounds like when numberplate vibrates similar to that... Is my muffler gone or no good or just how it is? maybe a exhaust leak? any help would be great. thanks.

Ended up just being the oil that was used as my mechanic showed me the oil martini racing which is a light green oil all fine and good

im thinking it might be a type of oil he used cause i had a sandwich plate leak and was fixed and he done a service and yea just checked it out today as havnt seen the oil or checked since the service couple of days ago.Will see tommorow i guess.

yea ill get it to him asap but not smoking not heating up at all or nothing and ive done head gaskects on past cars and was always a milky type colour,ive even tested it with a bit of coolant with oil in a cup and it straight away turns to full milk,,i guess ill find out tommorow but i have notice its making a vibration sound when its cold when first staring as i rev it it and wen the revs come down it makes a knocking type vibration from the head cover and goes away when it warms up with 5/10min dont no if thats got something to do with it.

hey guys just a quick question. I just checked me oil dipstick and oil cap and seems to have a very light fluro type green in it what does that mean? is it a specific oil the his put in it? i just had it seviced, oil and oilfilter and the oil all i no is 15w-50.

well guys took it for a tune and got checked out and my whole front compressor got munched as in chipped the blades off which was very upseting and dont no wat happend,,thought it might have been oil not going through but there was.I guess teach me not to buy china crap lol oh well backto the drawing board for me as ive just put the stock one on for now as it was. pretty dissapointed to be honest.

i just took it for a drive around with the actuator adjusted preload and boosted up to like 5 pounds with normal driving but felt weird as in not much sucktion or release like my stock turbo but maybe need a tune now i guess. ive hooked up the boost controller to, as the preload adjustment i dont want hitting like heaps of boost as i had to get the rod tight on for it to work so should i just turn the boost on my turbo smart down and go from there or will it not work as ive adjusted the rod like heaps to be tight on and dont have much more threads on the rod so thinking it might go high on boost level.
