I've heard the WRX is much quicker 0-60mph because they get permanent 4WD and more grip, but when the Skylines get going they have a lot more HP going to the wheels than the WRX and so the Skyline would overtake. The WRX gets excellent grip off the mark, but because they are permanent 4WD they lose a lot of HP through the drive train so mid and high range power doesn't get transmitted to the wheels as well as in the RWD Skyline.

Gotta love the M25! Yeah, i've been to Luton a few times. Used to swim there on occasion doing club meets and things. My Dad works from Luton airport at the moment as well. I've only ever seen one Skyline in the UK on the roads, but i don't go to meets or cruises so i'm unlikely to see them at all. It improves the novelty factor that they are so rare in the UK! You must love pulling into petrol stations and have people staring at the car, LOL.

If you have illegal mods the company will more than likely void your insurance. Be very careful, insurance companies will gladly take your money but are always reluctant to pay up on their share of things. TBH there's not a chance in hell i'd be insured 3rd party on a car as powerful as a Skyline. I'd wait until i could afford the fully comprehensive insurance quotes.

Scooby owners in the UK often wave or nod at each other according to my friend. Also, kit-car owners do it too. It must be awesome to see somebody else with a car similar to yours that is as rare as a Skyline, give them a respectful wave and get one in return

I know. Did you hear about that Eclipse that was stolen in England a few months back? It was a really rare example with a unique paint job. The owner of the car contacted the cops, of course, but then he contacted every cruise related car forum that he knew of and spread the word about the car and showed pics of it. Sure enough about 4 days later, after numerous sightings and tip offs, a group of cruisers saw the car, followed it and gave a running commentary to the police of where it was headed. LOL. The guy got his car back, but even a week later he was being followed buy cruisers thinking that the car was still missing! Power to the people and all that sh1te! Have fun with the car dude.

Hmm, when i get my Skyline the first thing i'll do is try to contact the original owner in Japan (hoping that he speaks good engrish of course) and i'll ask him what the mileage was when he sold it.
