Very keen to hear about this as well. I tried to do a search and couldn't get an actual answer either.
I have seen it done in a few of the build threads around here and never understood the gains.
Looks pretty fine to me, the dip in the power graph at around 4200rpm is I believe because of the external gate opening once it hits full boost.
Looks fairly laggy though with the boost and the power delivery. Maybe someone with knowledge about the actual turbo could chime in.
The boost also seems to drop off a fair but towards the end of the rpm so that's why your top end power isn't a little more aggressive. Not sure if this was the way the turner set it up or of he had trouble with holding boost. External gate should have prevented that though.
You have the RSR yeah Richard?
I'm running just the standard 595's and I think my camber probably pays a good part in shit traction.
Best thing about them though is that they hold well in the dry and they have lasted me for nearly 2 years!
Zeb I can hook you up with the aftermarket parts off my 33
Coils, ECU (don't think sin can use it), injectors and AFM.
All you need to do then is buy a SS1PU and you have yourself a working setup not needing a tune
He sure is, should also be paying to advertise his products all the time.
I'm all for his products but there are people who are following the rules and paying to advertise products on here
You really should contact admins and get a dealer membership going if you want to sell stuff. Sounds like you sell some quality products at good prices.
Nice intercooler and what a great price! Car is coming along well.
That plastic is from the inside of the guard. You can see the cutout where the suspension would fit. Not sure if that's what you were asking though
Why don't you ask the place doing the roadworthy?
If they won't pass for that then ask them what you can do to get it passed. The answer will probably be "change it back to stock"
Which is going to be the answer we will give you or maybe get an engineer to tick it off.
They are already in the standard rail ready to just drop in. Haha I struggled with Jez when we first installed the 555's so I really am not looking forward to it.
