  1. And is NPC the company or a type of clutch. If I go to buy it do I just ask for a R33 NPC clutch?
  2. Okay sweet so the guy quoted me $410 for an organic Maybe I'll ask if he can make it as strong as possible for $550 and see what combo he comes up with Someone mentioned the extra extra extra cushion button Anyone know if this is forgiving with the odd shit take off
  3. I have way to many options with clutches Rather then spamming the hypergear thread I thought I might create a thread. I understand that there is a drivetrain section but it doesn't not have many people visit it from what I can see. So I got quoted for a organic clutch but then a few of you guys said its street friendly but not great for handling any launches etc. What I am looking to spend is around $500-$600 and it needs to be able to handle my shitty manual skills lol But also once the car is complete it may see a few track days a year. Links and prices or just discussion will be greatly appreciated. The person with the most help wins.....my girlfriend!
  4. I have to agree with scotty here You can imagine the BOV just venting and bouncing around in all directions disrupting the flow. When Scotty designed mine it dumps into the intake on an angle towards the turbo
  5. +1 to this haha If your to tight to even spend $100 on a good quality bleed valve you shouldn't own a skyline. I went from a bleed valve to an electronic controller. No other changes to the car and it transformed the car boost came on earlier and held better. Car felt totally different to drive
  6. Might ask him for something a little more durable just to cover myself for if I decide to dump it.
  7. So should I be telling the guy I dont want organic? Keep in mind I am yet to track the car and that probably wont happen any time soon. Car is pure street
  8. Does this guy ever f**ken sleep? Mate its a public holiday get the f**k to bed I would be if I didnt work at a fricken hotel
  9. Twas de 4 doors
  10. So whats the way around this Jez? Also got my clutch sorted should be here in the next week or so. Got KB clutches in Sydney to make me up one for $410 delivered
  11. Yeah but down the coast where my family lives there is none
  12. I managed to organise a clutch from a bloke in Sydney KB clutch engineering. He came recommended by a few of the ACT peeps once of which is running one in their GTR which is still holding up with 5k launches. The guy sent me the following quote via SMS so I dont know what it all is but this is how it came: HD cover assy HD clutch plate organic facing SBF Release bearing Freight to canberra $410
  13. This is interesting stuff. So really you just have to make sure your tune is 100% done on the barrel stuff. Then when you fill up at the servos that do change their content mix it will still be in the safe zone. I like the idea of this because I currently am running a Nistune Cant wait for NSW/ACT to get with the times and start supplying.
  14. Spotted a black 33 parked at the pool in Queanbehole he just pulled up as I did. Also just behind me was a 4 door 33 with what possible was a nismo sticker across the front window?
  15. Hey guys I am Wilderboys house mate. Currently the car has not been tuned its still running the stock 33 ECU. If it is missing then its not going to be a tune miss. I might swap my coil packs with him so he can test them. Also we dont have the equipment for a leakdown test so will get that organised
  16. Saw a very nice white 34 GTR cruise through Manuka From his look of "I run this shit" I'm guessing his not in here
  17. Good read will come again
  18. Do you have a phone capable of picture messages? If so I can send you a picture of how mine works
  19. Thanks again for all the info guys
  20. Few of the guys said I can get one made up for around $600 I guess thats the best option because they make it for your power/rpm/torque
  21. I will take a photo of mine and send it to you. Just go to Jaycar across the road from Wow sight and sound. Cost me I think $4 a plug and you need 2. My car already had the stock solenoid removed so was pretty straight forward swap. I guess maybe leave that till the turbo is done because then you can hook up the actuator etc. Did you buy a 3 inch intake?
  22. Are these street friendly clutches? Button clutches are normally the ON or OFF type?
