It never seemed loose from what I remember when installing the turbo. I didn't play around with any of it I just got the turbo in the mail and bolted it straight on. I'll check this afternoon after work but -

Preloading the spring won't cause the boost to go higher then the preset 20psi will it? Also will it put at DVS's tune?

I love the turbo btw. Wouldn't mind the boost issue to be fixed but I will speak to Stao about controlling this. Everything else is perfectly fine

Clutch ill take the time and just do it myself in the coming months depending on how it slips. Only happened 2x Lol it's a totally new car to drive man

She drives great on and off boost! Slips in 4th and 5th sometimes do I will have to bleed the clutch and see how it goes Otherwise I'm up for a new clutch haha That's the next step in the process

Hey So the day started at 8am at DVS JEZ's workshop with fitting the injectors, fuel pump and chucking some new spark plugs in. After spending an hour or so we couldn't work out why my HKS 700cc injectors were holding back the tune. I googled for a while and then found out in fact I was actually sold 555cc injectors. So the tuning starts again. We then found that the actuator Stao provides with his SS1PU's is a 20psi actuator haha so no less then that for me. Tuning away again all of a sudden the boost dropped off to 12 psi and the turbo starts working overtime. Checked the hosing and found that one of the joiners had actually split so DVS was nice enough to cut up a pipe and weld a new joiner. We then got some well awaited results and she managed to pull a respectable 250rwkw before it pinged. I told DVS to back the tune off to a safe level because I already was worried about running 20psi through it. After 13 hours on a Sunday spent dropping injector rings into the abyss and everything that can go wrong going wrong we were done!

I guess we can sit back and see what Birds makes and compaire the 2. Overall I am happy with the turbo For $1500 it's a great turbo guys

What about 9000kw by 9000rpm! Now that would be a turbo

Already got a profec b spec 2 installed in it This didnt help with the tapper. Seems the actuators are not up to holding the 20psi consistently Also as DVS said it seems my clutch is either on its way out or needs a bit of adjusting/bleeding The car feels phenomenal when it comes onto boost and spins 2nd without hesitation cruising. Next step is a CAI and a box for the pod filter might help a little. We did back to back power runs on a safer tune and only lost around 1-2kw

That is what I did haha But also was told the emissions is all in the tune. So if you have a good tuner you could pass -
Looks like the actuator supplied is a 20psi haha So no high or low boost for me

Spotted a few guys on my way to Sydney. A white 34 GTR with black rims I gave a wave but didn't get one back Also got a nod off a bloke cruising to Sydney in a nice looking 31 with nsw plates Then a nice red 33 heading opposite way towards Canberra

Keep stock box get a highflow filter Then get a nice return flow fmic You wont have to worrie about anything then

Mitch I think I'll be right to help over Easter All my house mates and girl friend are heading down the coast but I will be working So I'll bring some tools around and we can have a crack at it. Maybe if one of the other guys are keen 3 people could knock it over real quick
