  1. Was always told to replace washers each time. Something about they squish Learnt my lesson I will just keep an eye on it and maybe get some braided lines next week Anyone want to install them for $100 ay ay
  2. It will be fine for the tune then I'll order some once I finish. Way to much stress to do it all again right now I will just keep an eye on my coolant levels
  3. Just went for a slow cruise in the car Ran into some more trouble this afternoon Started it and the water line opposite side to the manifold started spitting out water Ended up being the washers I used were to big The side closest to the manifold may or may not be leaking. Pretty worried about it but I guess only time will tell Way to hard to get to the washer now as everything is back together
  4. DVS Jez has been helping me with advice for the whole build and he lives his stuff so I guess he will put 100% into it Just went for a slow cruise in the car Ran into some more trouble this afternoon Started it and the water line opposite side to the manifold started spitting out water Ended up being the washers I used were to big The side closest to the manifold may or may not be leaking. 9. Just read from start to finish! Hope your next tune isn't a disappointment like the others. My car got finished tonight with the SS1PU install. Took me over a week to fit everything right and make sure its all good. Tomorrow I am topping her up with some much needed oil + coolant and on Sunday I will be at DVS's workshop tuning
  10. Shane just finished it while I was at dinner!!! Hella yes. Top up oil tomorrow Top up coolant Double check bolts Start and skid!
  11. Spotted sky 32r at lemon grass woden
  12. Haha Titan I did see yours it would have been less hassle. Buttttt this is built exactly how I want it Once the tune is done I will have the biggest f**ken smile you guys will spot me from a mile away with my head out the window smiling
  13. Talking about stitched hand. I cut my oil return pipe on the bottom of the turbo while it was in the car because I couldn't be f**ked trying to put water lines in again. By the time I was finished the intake of my turbo was covered in blood from my knuckle hitting it non stop
  14. One does not simply open the can
  15. So I made it to 1000 posts hella yeah Also everything is coming together great Intake is all in but the BOV and Oil return pipes are sitting against the heat shield so I am going to get some heat proof stuff today and see how things go Woo this was fun lol
  16. What did you change it to sarg also did you heat wrap it? I think it will be fine for the tune then I won't have to worries about it and I can take my time doing it perfect
  17. Not a very clear pic because its dark outside. Here you go
  18. Hey guys, So just installed the new intake pipe and its causing me a few drams with fitting. At the angle it needs to be to fit on the turbo correctly and fit the pod it seems to leave me no room for the plumb backs. Here is a picture of how the hoses sit right now. Do you think this will get way to hot and melt?
  19. Why is it called PCV? Is that just the word used when you run the hose from the catch can to the intake. Or is PCV a function/object that car has
  20. What is PCV? And does the GTST have it?
  21. Yes birds I'm curious as well!
