FIXED I got a pipe from nat rad for $5 and banged the shit into place! Used a bit of gasket glue as well Also tested my thermostat at the same time and checked for extra rust. non to be seen Now just waiting for the gasket glue to seal and then I will be driving like a granny again

Read their website and I might buy one depending on if I can find a new manifold for cheaper or a new pipe cheaper I am going to hook the old radiator up today or tomorrow and flush the system. Haven't checked the pump yet or the thermostat I might pick a thermo up at the same time as a new pipe + I always ran quality coolant but it must have been from previous owners. I only had the car about 6 months

I will find a stockie to chuck in there or bang some stainless steel into place of it. Then I'll take it to the electrical place How much did it set you back to check for stray current etc?

I wouldn't know where to check all the earths My system has had bubbles in it for the past 3 months that I have had it because of the leaking radiator that I only just replaced Could have used tap water while it was over in Japan Someone said they are pretty cheap over there with that kinda thing It's a stock radiator so Shouldn't have issues like the aftermarket ones might

So this happened a long time ago before it got imported and the guys here used coolant. Bloody japs they have plenty of cash its like $20 for a concentrated bottle

Yeah I will search around for a stock plenum that's going for cheap and just go that road Thanks for the help with the idea of flushing it out How does this shit even happen??

I was thinking of welding it but with the replacement pipe do you just stick it in there?

Yeah my car is a manual. Do I have to plug them up or can I just leave them to drain then leave it alone? I might go talk to a radiator place on monday or go to a welder and see what he thinks about doing it in car. Glad I caught this early because I would hate to have this pop doing 100km down the highway

Hey guys so I got 2 issues that just came about when I put my 2nd hand radiator in. 1st. It has hoses on the bottom of it for power steering I have just left these as my car doesn't have hoses running to power steering from the radiator. This wont cause any issues will it? 2nd. The outlet from my engine to my radiator is rusted so badly now when I tried to clamp it back up it just crushed and leaks. I now have no where to connect the hose from my radiator to. Ideas please? All I could think of doing was pulling the whole thing out and taking it to get a little section of pipe welded onto it.
